The Challenge

AppDirect powers millions of subscriptions globally through a platform that simplifies how tech is bought and sold. You'll own integrated marketing strategy for Firstbase, a subsidiary BU, translating corporate vision into measurable pipeline growth while operating as an embedded generalist accountable for real revenue impact.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Develop and lock annual + Q1 integrated marketing plans for Firstbase with clear KPIs tied to pipeline targets

2

Establish baseline campaign performance metrics across digital, events, and content channels; identify quick wins

3

Build stakeholder alignment with Firstbase Sales and Product leadership; map cross-sell and GTM opportunities

4

Audit existing marketing programs and contractors; optimize resource allocation and prioritization framework

By 6 Months
1

Execute 2+ product launches or major GTM initiatives; demonstrate pipeline contribution and ROI per campaign

Scale high-performing channels and retire underperformers; achieve 15%+ efficiency gains in marketing spend

3

Develop repeatable playbooks for demand gen, events, and content that your team (or contractors) can execute independently

4

Present quarterly business reviews with C-suite-ready insights; influence BU strategy based on market and customer data

Pipeline Generated

Total attributed pipeline (MQL to SQL conversion) driven by integrated marketing campaigns, tracked monthly.

Campaign ROI

Revenue influenced per marketing dollar spent; target >3:1 ratio across digital, events, and content.

Win Rate & Velocity

Sales cycle length and close rate for marketing-sourced opportunities vs. baseline; measure GTM effectiveness.

Cross-Sell Penetration

Percentage of existing customers engaged in shared GTM initiatives or upsell campaigns.

Stakeholder Satisfaction

BU leadership and Sales team feedback on marketing alignment, execution quality, and business impact.

Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You've owned marketing strategy for a product line, BU, or revenue segment and can tie it to pipeline/revenue
  • You thrive operating as an embedded generalist accountable for end-to-end execution across channels
  • You're comfortable in Buenos Aires hybrid setup (1 day onsite, 4 remote) and can work across time zones
  • You have 5–7 years B2B SaaS/tech marketing and understand both direct and channel go-to-market models
  • You're fluent with data, dashboards, and AI tools—not just creative, but analytically rigorous
Won't Work If
  • You need full-time remote or can't commit to Buenos Aires (onsite requirement is fixed)
  • You prefer hands-on creative execution over strategy, planning, and cross-functional leadership
  • You don't have proven track record linking marketing initiatives to measurable pipeline or revenue outcomes

Final round with Portfolio Marketing or BU leadership; discuss long-term vision, team building, and AppDirect culture fit.
