The Challenge

Royal Canin's newly created Functional Complements Centre of Expertise is building and scaling health-driven pet categories across Europe and emerging markets. You'll lead regional go-to-market strategies for Treats and Supplements in a fast-moving business unit where pace and strategic clarity drive growth.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Map regional market dynamics, competitive landscape, and consumer/shopper insights across Europe and RGM to refine portfolio positioning

2

Co-develop and align the European and RGM marketing and demand creation strategy with global frameworks and regional stakeholders

3

Design launch models and activation standards for at least one key product in the portfolio

4

Build relationships with Global Innovation, Regional teams, and key stakeholders to establish credibility and influence

By 6 Months
1

Execute successful launch of Functional Complements portfolio across Europe with measurable awareness, recommendation, and conversion metrics

2

Drive omnichannel demand creation across B2B and B2B2C channels with defined activation plans and channel mix

3

Secure investment commitments and embed portfolio into strategic health platforms with senior stakeholders

4

Establish baseline performance metrics and delivery framework ensuring alignment between global standards and regional execution

KPIs You'll Own

Portfolio Revenue Growth

Track year-over-year growth in Functional Complements sales across Europe and RGM regions.

Category Awareness & Consideration

Measure unaided and aided awareness, plus consumer recommendation intent in target markets.

Omnichannel Conversion Rate

Monitor conversion rates across online and offline channels (B2B and B2B2C) relative to traffic/engagement.

Launch Execution Velocity

Track time-to-market and on-time delivery of activation plans and launch milestones.

Stakeholder Alignment Score

Measure adoption of regional strategies and investment commitments secured from key decision-makers.

  • You combine analytical rigor (insights, data, competitive analysis) with commercial instinct and clear communication
  • You thrive in fast-paced, newly formed teams and can influence senior stakeholders without formal authority

  • You need remote flexibility-this is 100% on-site in France
  • You prefer stable, mature categories; this role demands comfort with ambiguity and evolving business models
  • You lack multi-market or regional experience; regional fluency and ability to navigate different market dynamics is mandatory
