Delete my data
Under GDPR Article 17 (Right to Erasure), you can request that Growth.Talent permanently delete your personal data. This page lets you start that request — we'll email you a confirmation link to verify your identity before anything is touched.
What gets deleted
- • Your candidate profile (name, email, headline, bio, photo, LinkedIn URL, salary expectations, tools, location, …)
- • All applications you submitted via Growth.Talent
- • Any API keys you generated, plus their usage logs
- • Saved jobs and email subscriptions
- • Any imported profile from public sources (LinkedIn scrape, podcast appearances) that we can match to your email or LinkedIn URL
How it works
- 1. Submit the form below with your email.
- 2. We send a confirmation link to that email (valid for 7 days).
- 3. You click the link, then click "delete" to confirm.
- 4. Records are deleted within minutes — or after a 24-hour hold for verified accounts (see protections below).
- 5. You receive an audit summary email listing exactly what was deleted.
How we keep this safe
We take account-takeover seriously. Every deletion goes through layered verification so a briefly-compromised email can't silently wipe your account:
- • Email verification. Nothing happens until you click a confirmation link sent to the email on file.
- • Type-to-confirm gate for verified accounts and accounts with applications/API keys — you have to type the word
DELETE exactly. - • 24-hour cooling-off window for those same high-value accounts. After confirmation, we wait 24 hours and send a separate "deletion scheduled" email with a one-click cancel link. Lets you abort if your inbox was briefly compromised.
- • Per-IP rate limit on the form (10/hour) — prevents bulk email-bombing.
- • Admin notifications on every request, every confirmation, every cancellation. Patterns surface fast.
- • Atomic database transaction — when deletion runs, every related record disappears together or none does.
The worst case is one user's data per request — there's no path that lets a single submission affect anyone other than the email owner.
For complex cases (imported profiles where you don't recognise the email we have on file), our team manually reviews the request — typically within 48 hours on weekdays. You'll get email updates either way.
