The Challenge
Deezer is the world's second-largest independent music streaming platform, now publicly listed on Euronext. You'll own end-to-end SEA strategy across France and international markets, driving user acquisition at scale while optimizing every euro spent across Google, Microsoft, YouTube, and Apple Search.
Your Mission
Audit and optimize existing Google Ads and Microsoft Ads campaigns across key markets; identify 20%+ efficiency gains through bid strategy refinement and negative keyword expansion
Establish baseline performance dashboards in Looker Studio with clean attribution tracking across all paid channels; standardize reporting across France and 2-3 international markets
Launch 3-5 A/B tests on ad copy, landing pages, and bidding models; deliver initial findings and recommendations for scaling winners
Build stakeholder relationships with analytics, creative, product, and local market teams; document decision-making framework for budget allocation across channels
Scale proven SEA channels; grow user acquisition volume 30-40% YoY while maintaining or improving CAC and ROAS targets
Expand paid media presence to 5+ platforms (Google, Microsoft, YouTube, Apple Search, DV360); establish standard operating procedures for each channel
Conduct full-funnel analysis linking search awareness campaigns to downstream conversion metrics; deliver recommendations for awareness-to-consideration optimization
Own Q4 holiday campaign planning and execution across all SEA channels; deliver post-campaign analysis with learnings for 2026 scaling
KPIs You'll Own
Cost Per Acquisition (CPA)
Track blended CPA across all SEA channels; optimize downward month-over-month while maintaining conversion volume targets.
Return on Ad Spend (ROAS)
Measure revenue or lifetime value attributed to SEA; target 3:1 ROAS or better depending on product funnel economics.
Search Volume & Impression Share
Monitor market share of branded and non-branded search traffic; track impression share growth as proxy for visibility expansion.
Click-Through Rate (CTR) & Quality Score
Maintain competitive CTR and Google Quality Scores through creative testing and landing page optimization; benchmark against industry.
Budget Utilization & Efficiency
Ensure daily budget pacing is predictable; reduce wasted spend from underspend or inefficient targeting by 15%+ quarterly.

Is This Role For You?
- You've managed €500K+ annual SEA budgets across multiple platforms and proven ability to optimize ROAS and CPA at scale
- You're fluent in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and DV360; you know campaign structure, bidding models, and attribution inside-out
- You obsess over data: you build dashboards, write Excel pivots, and can translate noisy signals into clear action plans
- You thrive in fast-moving, collaborative environments; you can influence without authority and ship tests quickly
- You have international or multi-market expansion experience; bonus if you've scaled user acquisition across EU markets
- You're a strategist-only; this role requires hands-on campaign management and daily optimization across multiple accounts
- You lack proven expertise in SEA/Google Ads; PPC generalists or social-only practitioners will struggle here
- You're not comfortable with ambiguity; Deezer is moving fast and you'll need to make decisions with incomplete data and iterate quickly
- You need full remote flexibility; this is an on-site Paris role with no hybrid option mentioned
