The Challenge
Canonical is the force behind Ubuntu-the OS powering global enterprises from cloud to AI to IoT. You'll own the GTM engine for high-impact products, shaping how developers and enterprise buyers see open source innovation.
Your Mission
Develop and lock messaging/positioning for 2-3 key product lines targeting both developer and enterprise segments
Partner with product and sales teams to map current GTM gaps and define content roadmap for Q1-Q2 launches
Execute one major product campaign from brief to launch, measuring awareness lift and pipeline contribution
Establish competitive intelligence framework and quarterly market positioning review cadence
Drive full GTM strategy execution for 3+ products, delivering measurable pipeline growth and customer engagement metrics
Build and scale content engine: launch minimum 12 pieces of sales enablement and demand gen content
Lead 2-3 integrated global campaigns across regions, coordinating regional marketing teams and measuring ROI
Establish and optimize marketing funnel analytics dashboard; identify and implement 3+ optimization opportunities

Total qualified pipeline attributed to your GTM campaigns and messaging initiatives, tracked monthly.
Content Performance
Engagement rates, downloads, and lead generation from sales enablement materials and demand gen content.
Campaign ROI
Cost per acquisition and revenue impact of major campaign launches versus marketing spend.
Win Rate by Segment
Sales conversion rates for developer vs. enterprise buyer segments to validate messaging effectiveness.
Product Adoption
Feature awareness and adoption metrics post-launch, tracked through product analytics and customer feedback.
