The Challenge
Justworks is scaling its performance marketing engine and needs a seasoned leader to own paid search, SEO/AEO, and affiliate channels. You'll lead a team, drive channel efficiency, and directly impact pipeline and revenue for a growing HR tech platform.
Your Mission
Audit current performance across paid search, SEO/AEO, and affiliate channels; identify top 3-5 quick wins to improve efficiency and pipeline contribution
Establish team operating rhythms: weekly channel reviews, monthly testing roadmaps, and clear decision-making frameworks for budget allocation
Map attribution and pipeline contribution across all performance channels; build reporting dashboard for stakeholder alignment
Define and implement bidding strategy optimizations and creative testing protocols for each core channel
Increase performance marketing pipeline contribution by 20-30% through channel optimization and audience refinement
Launch 2-3 channel-specific testing programs (SEO/AEO positioning, landing page conversion flows, affiliate partner tiering) with documented learnings
Develop and execute team capability plan; hire or upskill 1-2 specialists in underperforming channels
Establish integrated funnel reporting connecting performance channels to lifecycle marketing and RevOps metrics
KPIs You'll Own
Cost Per Pipeline Dollar (CPPD) by channel
Track efficiency of paid search, SEO/AEO, and affiliate spend against qualified pipeline generated.
Pipeline Contribution % by channel
Measure revenue influence each performance channel drives relative to total marketing pipeline.
Conversion Rate (landing page → MQL/SQL)
Monitor funnel health and landing experience effectiveness across channel segments.
Channel ROAS (Return on Ad Spend)
Evaluate paid search and affiliate ROI against target efficiency benchmarks.
Test Velocity (tests launched per month)
Track how many experiments your team runs across bidding, creative, and targeting.
