The Challenge
Housecall is a rapidly growing startup backed by top-tier VCs, building tools for service professionals. You'll architect the lifecycle automation engine that scales personalized journeys across acquisition, onboarding, retention, and expansion—moving from static campaigns to AI-powered, signal-based orchestration.
Your Mission
Audit and map current lifecycle workflows across GTM and GTC stages; identify gaps, bottlenecks, and quick wins in automation maturity
Own and deploy 2–3 high-impact automated workflows (onboarding, conversion, win-back) using Iterable with measurable lift targets
Establish lifecycle reporting and dashboarding framework with weekly visibility into journey-level KPIs and segment performance
Build and onboard your operations team, define role expectations, and create a structured experimentation cadence
Scale lifecycle automation across 5+ journey stages with signal-based triggers and real-time personalization; achieve 15%+ lift in key conversion metrics
Implement multivariate testing program across email, SMS, and in-app with documented learnings and playbooks for cadence, content, and segmentation
Partner with Martech and Product to evolve infrastructure for scalability; reduce manual campaign build time by 40%+
Develop and mentor your team toward autonomous ownership; establish clear OKRs and growth plans for 2–3 direct reports

Is This Role For You?
- You've spent 4–6+ years building lifecycle automation workflows in platforms like Iterable, Braze, or similar; you speak fluent trigger logic, segmentation, and orchestration
- You've led or mentored a small team (1–2 years+) and genuinely enjoy developing people and building systems for scale
- You love translating strategy into execution; you're comfortable in a shared ownership model and thriving on cross-functional influence (Martech, Analytics, Product Marketing, GTM)
- You're data-driven; you design experiments (A/B, multivariate, cadence tests) and turn results into playbooks and recommendations
- You value autonomy and impact; you want to own a critical function end-to-end and see measurable improvements in customer journeys and revenue
- You need hands-off leadership; this role requires active, collaborative partnership with Martech and GTM teams and hands-on workflow ownership
- You prefer static, campaign-based marketing; this is about shifting to real-time, signal-based, AI-driven orchestration
