The Challenge

Console is building autonomous AI agents that resolve enterprise operations at scale. You'll own the entire paid acquisition engine from scratch—turning $1 into predictable pipeline for a venture-backed team backed by Thrive Capital.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Audit existing paid channel performance (Google, LinkedIn, Reddit, X) and establish baseline CAC, ROAS, and conversion metrics across all channels

2

Launch 3 high-impact paid campaigns with clear hypotheses, creative variations, and funnel tracking integrated with GA4/GTM

3

Build attribution and measurement framework to report weekly on CAC, pipeline generated, and conversion rates by channel

4

Document and optimize the campaign launch process to reduce time-to-experiment and improve consistency across platforms

By 6 Months
1

Scale top 2 performing channels to predictable, profitable unit economics (target 3:1+ ROAS minimum)

2

Validate and launch 2 new acquisition channels (affiliates, creators, newsletters, or emerging platforms) with measurable ROI

3

Establish an A/B testing cadence: run 8+ experiments monthly on copy, creative, audiences, and landing page elements with documented wins/losses

4

Hire and onboard 1 junior paid specialist to handle day-to-day execution, freeing you to focus on strategy and new channel discovery

KPIs You'll Own

CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost)

Total paid spend divided by new customers acquired; track by channel to identify efficient sources.

Conversion Rate

Percentage of ad clicks that convert to desired action (demo, signup, MQL); measure funnel stage by stage.

Pipeline Generated

Qualified opportunities attributed to paid campaigns; link directly to revenue impact.

ROAS (Return on Ad Spend)

Revenue generated per dollar spent on ads; benchmark minimum 3:1 for profitability.

Experiment Velocity

Number of tests launched per month; track success rate and learnings compound over time.

Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You've managed paid campaigns at B2B SaaS and obsess over CAC, conversion rates, and attribution
  • You're equally comfortable in GA4 dashboards and brainstorming ad copy in the same hour
  • You thrive in ambiguity, move fast, take ownership of outcomes, and ship before everything is perfect
  • You believe testing wins compound—you love running experiments, learning from failures, and scaling winners
  • You're energized by early-stage upside: small team, founder access, and the chance to define how a category-defining company grows
Won't Work If
  • You need heavy process, lengthy approval chains, or prefer stability over speed and iteration
  • You're uncomfortable with on-site, full-time work in San Francisco or lack paid performance fundamentals
  • You're not analytical: if you can't dive into dashboards, track attribution, and report on hard metrics, this isn't the fit
