- Develop a brand positioning strategy that differentiates each of its product lines in a crowded market.
- Ensure brand consistency across all channels and hold internal teams and vendors accountable to brand standards.
- Identify and build partnerships with influencers, designers, architects, and home improvement companies to expand brand reach and credibility.
D2C Website Ownership & Conversion Optimization
- Own the full D2C website experience end to end, landing pages, product pages, checkout flow, and onsite messaging.
- Partner with design, development, and/or agency partners to plan, brief, and ship new pages, campaigns, and site features.
- Run structured A/B and multivariate tests on copy, layout, offers, and funnels to continuously improve conversion rate and average order value.
- Ensure the D2C experience is fast, mobile-optimized, and consistent with brand identity.
Lead Generation & Demand Generation Program
- Build and own a full-funnel lead generation program, paid, organic, email/SMS, content, and any other channel that drives qualified demand.
- Set and own targets for lead volume, cost per lead, and lead-to-customer conversion; report on performance regularly to leadership.
- Build and manage email/SMS lifecycle programs (e.g., Klaviyo) to nurture leads and drive repeat purchase and customer lifetime value.
- Continuously test new channels and tactics for generating demand, and scale what works.
Business Development & Growth Strategy
- Partner directly with leadership to identify new growth opportunities, new customer segments, channels, or offerings, and translate them into marketing strategy.
- Tie marketing activity directly to business growth targets, not just campaign-level metrics; report on marketing's contribution to overall revenue growth.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform brand positioning, product marketing, and growth strategy.
- Partner with the account management team on Amazon, Home Depot, Lowe's, and Wayfair initiatives to ensure brand and campaign consistency, day-to-day marketplace listing management and retail media advertising remain owned by account management.
Content, Sales Enablement & Team Leadership
- Oversee creation of high-quality marketing content (website, social, email, digital ads, print) that supports brand and lead-gen goals.
- Work with the sales team to create marketing collateral and materials that support the sales process.
- Lead and mentor marketing team members, ensuring alignment with company growth objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a managerial or strategic brand/growth role, preferably in the home goods, luxury, or design industry.
- Proven track record of building and scaling a lead generation or demand generation program, with clear ownership of lead volume, cost per lead, and conversion metrics.
- Hands-on experience owning a D2C website and driving conversion rate optimization (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce).
- Strong brand strategy and positioning skills, with the ability to translate brand vision into consistent execution across channels.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, SEM, social media, and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, etc.).
- Experience managing marketing budgets and reporting on ROI and business impact, not just campaign metrics.
- Creative and strategic thinker with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with leadership, cross-functional teams (including account management), and external partners.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the luxury product sector, particularly in home décor, fixtures, or bath products.
- Prior experience in a business development or growth-strategy capacity, beyond traditional marketing execution.
- Experience with marketing automation tools (e.g., Klaviyo), CRM systems, and customer journey optimization.
- Familiarity with CRO and analytics tools such as Hotjar, Optimizely, or Google Optimize.
- Basic HTML/CSS or no-code website editing skills.
- A passion for innovation and staying up to date with industry and growth-marketing trends.
