The Challenge
Advenworks is building the world's largest remote game studio ($150B industry). You'll own game portfolio growth, user acquisition optimization, and revenue maximization across their mobile game catalog-working directly with the CMO and growth team.
Your Mission
Analyze 5-10 games in portfolio and identify top 3 underperforming titles for UA optimization
Set up daily game performance dashboards tracking DAU, retention, LTV, CPI across ad networks
Execute 2 user acquisition campaigns (A/B testing creative, bidding, targeting) and hit baseline KPIs
Build relationships with 3-5 key ad network partners and document API/reporting workflows
Grow total portfolio DAU by 25-40% through optimized UA campaigns and audience refinement
Identify and pipeline 3-5 promising games for publishing evaluation (business development)
Reduce blended CPI by 15-20% through creative testing, network arbitrage, and geo-expansion
Create monthly growth performance review process with actionable insights for product/dev teams
KPIs You'll Own
Cost Per Install (CPI)
Track blended CPI across all ad networks to measure UA efficiency and identify network performance gaps.
DAU / Monthly Active Users (MAU)
Monitor daily and monthly active user trends per game to measure portfolio health and campaign impact.
Lifetime Value (LTV) & LTV:CPI Ratio
Calculate revenue per user and compare against acquisition costs to ensure profitable scaling.
D1 / D7 / D30 Retention
Track cohort retention rates to evaluate game quality and predict long-term revenue sustainability.
Revenue Per User (RPU) / ARPU
Measure monetization efficiency and identify games ready for aggressive scaling.
