The Challenge

Cypress HCM needs a technical expert to own data quality across their Customer Data Platform and Adobe Experience Platform. You'll be the first line of defense for a complex marketing ecosystem handling 35M+ profiles, preventing data degradation before it tanks campaign performance.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Establish daily monitoring protocols for AEP/Marketo dataflows; reduce incident response time from discovery to triage from 4+ hours to under 30 minutes

Document all current data quality baselines (profile counts, audience metrics, error patterns) and create automated alerts for anomalies

Own and resolve 100% of first-line data quality issues without escalation to leadership; track resolution rate weekly

4

Build 3-5 automated SQL queries or Alteryx workflows to catch recurring data validation issues before they impact downstream campaigns

By 6 Months

Reduce critical data quality incidents by 60% through proactive monitoring and automation

Achieve 99.2%+ data delivery SLA across all CDP ingestion sources (Marketo, S3, enrichment vendors)

Deliver quarterly data quality health reports with actionable insights on data freshness, accuracy, and audience segment performance

Establish yourself as the technical POC for Adobe and vendor support; reduce average ticket resolution time by 40%

  • You've spent 4+ years building data quality infrastructure or owning CDP/marketing data systems at scale
  • You're fluent in SQL, comfortable with Snowflake/Alteryx, and have hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Platform or similar CDPs

  • You love being the technical expert in the room-vendor management, root cause analysis, and incident response energize you
