The Challenge
Conagra Brands needs you to architect the data backbone for marketing measurement across media, owned digital, and social channels. You'll own data pipelines that directly influence how $20B+ in marketing spend gets optimized and measured.
Your Mission
Design and document data pipeline architecture for integrating multi-channel marketing data sources into Snowflake/Databricks
Build 3-4 core SQL transformation models supporting media spend, impressions, engagement, and conversion reporting
Establish data quality baseline and implement automated validation checks across existing marketing pipelines
Collaborate with Marketing and Analytics teams to translate 5+ business requirements into scalable data solutions
Deploy and optimize 8-10 Informatica ETL workflows reducing manual data processes by 40%+
Build self-service analytics layer enabling Marketing teams to access 15+ key performance metrics without engineering support
Implement data governance framework covering marketing domain with PII/compliance safeguards
Mentor junior engineers on SQL optimization and data modeling best practices; reduce query execution time by 30%

Percentage of daily ETL jobs completing on-time with zero data quality issues.
Query Performance
Average execution time for core marketing analytics queries; target sub-60 second response times.
Time-to-Insight
Days from raw data source to actionable marketing metric availability.

Percentage of marketing channels (paid media, owned digital, social) integrated into central data platform.

Is This Role For You?
- You've shipped 4+ years of production data pipelines supporting analytics at enterprise scale
- You speak fluent SQL and have hands-on experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or similar cloud data warehouses
- You've worked with Informatica ETL or similar tools and can optimize them for reliability and performance
- You thrive translating fuzzy business requirements from non-technical stakeholders into clean, scalable data architecture
- You're a data scientist who wants to build ML models-this role is pure data engineering and infrastructure
- You need full remote work or can't commit to 3 days/week Chicago office time
- You lack hands-on production experience with SQL, cloud data platforms, or ETL tools-internship/bootcamp projects don't count
