The Challenge

Lengow powers 3,600+ merchants across 60 countries with intelligent e-commerce solutions. You'll be the growth engine for their China expansion—building brand presence, generating qualified leads, and scaling a market from scratch with a lean 3-person team.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Launch 12+ high-performing pieces of localized content (articles, videos, posters) across WeChat, Douyin, RED, and Zhihu to establish Lengow's authority in Chinese e-commerce

2

Create and deploy 5 sales enablement materials (decks, one-pagers, case studies) that convert 25%+ of leads into demos

3

Build pipeline tracking process and KPI dashboard with sales team—establish baseline conversion metrics for optimization

4

Organize and execute 2 B2B events (virtual or in-person) targeting e-commerce decision-makers, hitting 150+ qualified attendees

By 6 Months
1

Scale content output to 24+ pieces monthly with 20%+ month-over-month engagement growth across all channels

Achieve 35%+ demo-to-trial conversion rate through refined sales materials and targeted messaging

Generate 200+ qualified leads monthly and reduce sales cycle by 15% through improved lead nurturing workflows

Launch 4+ joint partner events and establish 3 strategic partnerships to amplify reach in Chinese market

KPIs You'll Own

Content Engagement Rate

Monthly average engagement (likes, shares, comments) across WeChat, Douyin, RED, Zhihu—target 8%+ on organic posts.

Lead Volume & Quality Score

Track monthly MQLs generated and assign quality scores; aim for 200+ leads with 40%+ conversion to SQLs.

Event ROI

Cost-per-qualified-attendee and attendee-to-lead conversion; target $50 CPA and 25%+ conversion.

Sales Enablement Velocity

Time-to-first-demo after collateral deployment; target 5-day reduction vs. baseline.

Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You're a native or near-native Mandarin speaker with fluent English and ideally some French—this role requires authentic, culturally-smart content
  • You've built B2B or e-commerce campaigns in China and understand WeChat, Douyin, RED ecosystem dynamics
  • You can design, edit video, and write compelling copy—no tools are off-limits; you wear many hats
  • You thrive in scrappy startup mode: self-directed, bias-to-action, comfortable with ambiguity and direct feedback
Won't Work If
  • You need a designer, copywriter, or video editor on staff—this role is all-in-one; you own everything soup-to-nuts
  • You prefer a defined playbook over experimentation—Lengow's China market is greenfield; you're building the roadmap
  • You're not comfortable with on-site work in Paris or can't commit to hybrid after onboarding

Interview Process

Video call + business case

Async conversation with Mingming (current BDR). Likely: walk through a mock content strategy for a Chinese e-commerce segment or analyze a competitor's Douyin approach.

On-site meeting

In-person with Xing (China Team Lead). Expect deep-dive on market strategy, team fit, and your vision for Lengow's China growth.
