SVP of Marketing (Growth & Revenue)
The Role We are seeking a visionary and data-obsessed SVP of Marketing to lead our global marketing organization into its next phase of hyper-growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be the architect of our "Go-to-Market" engine, with a primary focus on scaling our Product-Led Growth (PLG) motions and optimizing our demand generation funnel.
As a revenue-centric leader, you understand that "Revenue is everything" and will be responsible for managing a multi-million dollar budget to drive measurable ROI. You will oversee a high-performing team across Growth, Product Marketing, Brand, and Revenue Operations.
Core Responsibilities
Growth & Demand Generation: Build and scale a world-class growth engine that drives predictable pipeline, focusing on enterprise-level Sales-Led motions. Revenue Operations & Analytics: Partner with RevOps to maintain "crystal clear" dashboards, ensuring that every dollar spent is tracked against Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and Lifetime Value (LTV). Strategic Leadership: Manage and mentor a diverse team of 20+ professionals, fostering a culture of "Teamwork & Growth". Brand & Number Reputation: Oversee the brand’s authority in the market, including specialized functions like Number Reputation to ensure our communication channels remain trusted and effective.
What You Bring (Qualifications)
Experience: 10+ years of marketing leadership experience, with a proven track record of scaling SaaS companies from $20M to $100M+ ARR. Growth Expertise: Deep hands-on experience in Account-Based Marketing (ABM), PLG loops, and complex performance marketing. Financial Acumen: Experience managing large-scale budgets and a history of achieving 1x to 4x increases in ROI through strategic optimization. Executive Presence: Comfortable working directly with Founders and Private Equity (PE) boards to navigate exits, acquisitions, and strategic pivots. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; a technical understanding of the CPaaS/Telecom landscape is a significant plus.
Key ResponsibilitiesPipeline & Revenue Contribution
Own marketing’s contribution to pipeline generation and revenue growth. Build and scale a predictable demand generation engine aligned with Convoso’s revenue goals. Establish clear metrics and accountability for marketing performance tied to sales outcomes.
Product Marketing & Market Positioning
Partner closely with Product Management and Product Marketing to define and refine Convoso’s positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for key markets and ICP segments. Ensure product value and differentiation are translated into clear messaging that resonates across sales conversations, website, events, and partner channels. Collaborate with product leadership to align product strategy, product marketing, and demand generation efforts.
Sales Alignment & GTM Strategy
Partner closely with sales leadership to strengthen go-to-market strategy and improve conversion performance. Ensure marketing programs support the realities of outbound sales motions and buying behavior. Establish strong feedback loops between sales insights and marketing strategy.
Marketing Team Leadership
Lead, develop, and scale Convoso’s marketing organization Establish clear ownership, accountability, and performance expectations across the team. Build a high-performing demand generation function capable of supporting the company’s growth objectives.
Marketing Communications & Market Presence
Oversee Convoso’s external narrative and communications across industry channels, events, and digital presence. Ensure marketing communications reinforce Convoso’s credibility and positioning within the market. Align communications strategy with demand generation and product marketing efforts.
Operational Leadership
Ensure disciplined planning, measurement, and optimization across marketing initiatives. Diagnose performance issues and drive improvements to marketing programs, team structure, or strategy as needed. Maintain alignment across marketing, sales, product, and executive leadership on growth priorities.
AI-Driven Marketing Operations
Drive the use of AI and automation across marketing workflows to increase the output and effectiveness of the marketing organization. Continuously identify opportunities where AI can accelerate research, content creation, campaign development, analysis, and execution. Prioritize leveraging technology and automation to scale marketing impact before expanding headcount.
Compensation:
The base salary range is: $250,000 - $300,000.
The Base Pay Range for this position is based on the industry benchmark for position, function, level and the company's compensation strategies. However, final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other objective business. Convoso’s compensation package also includes equity for all eligible U.S full time roles and exceptional benefits, including generous 401k match.
