About Us
AxiLab, Inc. is a Silicon Valley startup founded by Apple veterans. Our product, Raizz, is an AI-powered health device at the intersection of wearables and neurostimulation. We’re in pre-production and moving fast toward launch. This is your chance to build the marketing function from scratch.
The Role
As our first marketing hire, you’ll work directly with the CEO to shape our product narrative and go-to-market strategy. You’ll also conduct user interviews and research — turning real user insights into product and messaging decisions. Blank canvas. High ownership. No layers of approval.
What You’ll Do
- Partner directly with the CEO on brand voice, narrative, and high-stakes messaging
- Own GTM strategy: positioning, audience segmentation, channel strategy, and launch sequencing
- Translate complex AI/hardware technology into clear, compelling product stories
- Run user interviews and qualitative research — recruit, conduct, synthesize, act on findings
- Build competitive intelligence on health tech, wearables, and neurotech landscape
- Drive demand through content, PR, social, and partnership channels
- Establish marketing infrastructure: CRM, analytics, brand guidelines from zero to one
Who We’re Looking For
Required:
- 3–5 years of product marketing experience (hardware, health tech, or deep-tech preferred)
- Proven product launch experience — concept to market
- Hands-on user interview / qualitative research experience
- Exceptional storytelling — can write a technical brief and a social post and both land
- Comfortable as a team of one; low ego, high output
- Strong cross-functional instincts — engineers, designers, and founders are your collaborators
Nice to Have:
- Design background (UX, product design, or industrial design)
- Formal user research training: usability testing, diary studies, survey design
- Zero-to-one or first-hire marketing experience
