About Aline

Aline is the contract and legal ops platform built for growing companies. We help teams move faster on contracts without sacrificing accuracy or legal control, combining AI review, workflow automation, and a clean self-serve experience. We run a three-motion GTM (PLG, Sales Assist, SLG) and have a sharp, small team that moves fast and ships real things.

Why we're hiring

Our pipeline is growing, our tooling is maturing, and our demand gen surface area is expanding across paid, SEO, lifecycle, outbound, and product-led signals. We need a GTM Engineer to be the technical muscle behind our revenue machine — someone who can wire up systems, ship automations, and build AI-powered workflows that let a small team punch well above its weight.

This role sits between marketing, sales, and engineering — turning ideas into shipping systems in days, not quarters. Large-scale cold email is a core pillar of our outbound motion, and we need someone who can run it at volume without torching deliverability.

What you'll own

  • Large-scale cold email. Own our outbound email program end-to-end. Run high-volume sending through Instantly or EmailBison — domain and inbox provisioning, warm-up, rotation, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, bounce handling, spam-trap avoidance, and reply routing. Scale send volume while protecting deliverability and keeping reply rates healthy.

  • Outbound infrastructure. Own our prospecting stack end-to-end: Clay workflows, Apollo enrichment, signal-based triggers (funding, hiring, tech stack changes), sequencer logic, and list hygiene. Build the automations that find ICP-matching companies and get verified contacts into sequences without manual lift.

  • CRM + data ops. HubSpot is our source of truth. You’ll own lead routing, scoring, lifecycle stages, attribution, deal hygiene, and the data model across PLG / Sales Assist / SLG motions. When reporting breaks or a workflow drifts, you’re the person who fixes it — and then builds a check so it can’t happen again.

  • AI agents & GTM workflows. We already run agent-driven prospecting, personalization, and content workflows. You’ll extend them — building LLM-powered systems for research, account prioritization, email personalization, meeting prep, and whatever else we can reasonably automate. Expect to ship new agents regularly.

  • Experimentation & measurement. Set up tracking and dashboards that are actually used. Instrument our funnel end-to-end — from first-touch attribution through trial activation and deal close. Design experiments, measure them honestly, kill what doesn’t work.

  • Sales enablement tooling. Build the internal tools, notifiers, and briefing systems AEs need to show up prepared (e.g., Fireflies → HubSpot → Slack automations, account research agents, one-pager generators).

What you'll do in your first 90 days

By Day 30: You’ve mapped our current GTM stack, audited HubSpot data quality, shipped at least one meaningful automation improvement, and identified the top 3 leverage points for the next 60 days.

By Day 60: You’ve owned a full outbound experiment end-to-end — sourced through Clay, enriched via Apollo, loaded into Instantly/EmailBison, sent at volume, and measured. Deliverability is healthy, reply rates are trending up, and you’ve cleaned up at least one data model issue in HubSpot plus shipped one net-new AI agent or workflow that saves real time.

By Day 90: You’re the technical owner of our GTM infrastructure. You’re shipping weekly. You’re proposing (and building) the things we haven’t thought of yet.

What we're looking for

3–5 years in a GTM engineering, marketing ops, revenue ops, or growth engineering role — ideally at a B2B SaaS company under 200 people.

Proven experience running cold email at scale — ideally 10K+ sends/week across multiple domains and inboxes. You’ve managed infrastructure in Instantly or EmailBison (required), understand cold deliverability fundamentals, and have war stories about keeping domains out of spam.

Deep hands-on experience with:

  • Instantly or EmailBison (domain/inbox setup, warm-up, rotation, sequence logic)
  • HubSpot (admin-level: custom properties, workflows, scoring, lifecycle stages, reporting)
  • Clay (or similar — Apollo, LeadIQ, Cognism)
  • Apollo for enrichment and verification
  • Email auth and deliverability (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, warm-up tools, inbox placement)
  • At least one scripting language (Python or TypeScript) — you can ship real code, not just configure SaaS
  • APIs, webhooks, and connecting systems together

You’ve built AI-powered workflows — LLM APIs, agent frameworks, prompt engineering for production use cases (not just weekend projects). Bonus if you’ve worked with Claude, agent orchestration, or MCP.

You think in systems and data. You don’t just build — you instrument, measure, and iterate.

You’re pragmatic. You’d rather ship something useful in a week than architect something perfect in a quarter.

Strong communicator. You can explain what you built to a non-technical marketer and debug a workflow with a technical PM.

Nice to have

  • Experience in legal tech
  • Experience with PLG motions specifically (product-usage signals, trial-to-paid automation, lifecycle email)
  • Salesbricks, Stripe, or similar subscription billing tools
  • Experience with attribution tooling (Dreamdata, HockeyStack, or custom-built)
  • SQL and familiarity with warehouse-based GTM (Snowflake, BigQuery, Hightouch, Census)
  • Legal tech or legal ops domain experience
  • Prior early-stage startup experience

How we work

  • Remote-first, US-based team with async-heavy communication
  • Weekly GTM sync, otherwise trusted to ship
  • Small team — you’ll work directly with the founder, GTM leadership, and engineering
  • We ship, measure, and iterate in days, not weeks

Compensation & benefits

  • Base salary: $140,000–$160,000, calibrated to experience
  • Equity: 0.25%–0.40% — meaningful ownership at a seed-stage company where your work directly compounds the outcome
  • Full health, dental, and vision coverage
  • Home office stipend
  • Unlimited PTO (with a minimum)
  • The tools and budget you need to do your best work
