Location:

Denver, CO or Chicago, IL (Remote with monthly co-working meetups)

Salary:

$60,000 – $95,000 annually (dependent on experience)


About the Opportunity

Lakeshore Talent is partnering with a fast-growing digital marketing agency in the ecommerce space to hire a Digital Marketing Manager – Paid Search. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative, high-performing team that supports a diverse portfolio of ecommerce and B2B clients.

This role is ideal for a junior to mid-level digital marketer (2–5 years of experience) who thrives in a client-facing environment and has a strong foundation in paid search, with additional exposure to paid social and broader digital media.


What You’ll Do

Campaign Strategy & Planning

  • Translate client business goals into actionable digital marketing strategies
  • Develop integrated media plans across paid search, paid social, display, and affiliate channels
  • Define KPIs, audience targeting, and budget allocation
  • Forecast performance and recommend optimizations to improve ROI/ROAS


Campaign Execution & Optimization

  • Own day-to-day management of paid media campaigns, with a focus on Google Ads and paid search
  • Launch, monitor, and optimize campaigns across multiple platforms
  • Manage budgets, bids, audience targeting, and creative testing
  • Ensure accurate tracking, tagging, and data integrity (pixels, GTM, etc.)


Performance Analysis & Reporting

  • Monitor campaign performance and identify trends and opportunities
  • Build and deliver client-ready reports with clear insights and recommendations
  • Translate complex data into actionable, business-focused insights


Client & Team Collaboration

  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients on campaign performance
  • Support client presentations and ongoing communication
  • Partner with internal teams across creative, analytics, and account management


Growth & Continuous Improvement

  • Stay current on platform updates and digital marketing trends
  • Contribute to internal best practices, training, and process improvements
  • Support new business efforts and campaign audits as needed


What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of digital marketing experience (agency experience highly preferred)
  • Strong emphasis on paid search (Google Ads); exposure to paid social is a plus
  • Experience managing campaigns across multiple platforms (Google, Meta, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, GA4, and reporting tools
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into insights
  • Excellent communication skills and client-facing experience
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns in a fast-paced environment


Preferred Experience

  • Ecommerce and B2C marketing experience
  • Demand generation experience
  • Experience with GTM, pixel tracking, and campaign troubleshooting
  • Platform certifications (Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta, etc.)


Schedule & Flexibility

  • Standard hours: ~9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (MT or CT)
  • Flexible, results-driven environment (not chained to your desk)
  • Occasional light weekend check-ins during ecommerce launches (communicated in advance)
