Accountabilities
Research and develop a strong understanding of client businesses, products and services, target audiences, competitive landscapes, and relevant travel and hospitality markets.
Stay current with paid media trends, platform developments, industry best practices, competitor activity, emerging strategies, and new advertising capabilities across search and social channels.
Create, maintain, and execute paid media plans aligned with client objectives, budgets, timelines, and broader marketing strategies.
Manage monthly paid media budgets across multiple client accounts and channels while monitoring spend, pacing, performance metrics, and financial accuracy.
Set up and launch client accounts and campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta, Pinterest, LinkedIn, TikTok, Expedia, TripAdvisor, and other relevant digital media channels.
Manage and maintain client profiles and listings across platforms including Google Business Profile, TripAdvisor, Yext, Yelp, and similar services.
Conduct profile and listing audits, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide actionable recommendations and insights.
Implement campaign and account updates within established deadlines and coordinate or delegate tasks to supporting team members when appropriate.
Advise account teams and clients on campaign optimization strategies designed to improve conversion rates, return on investment, traffic quality, and overall campaign effectiveness.
Partner with internal analytics teams to establish tracking, troubleshoot measurement issues, investigate data inconsistencies, and ensure reliable performance reporting.
Review monthly paid media performance and translate results into clear recommendations and strategic insights for account leadership and clients.
Independently evaluate account performance, identify areas of opportunity, and proactively recommend improvements that support retention, growth, and client satisfaction.
Maintain accurate media plans, billing information, and media invoicing while ensuring financial management aligns with approved budgets and client expectations.
Communicate campaign performance, strategic recommendations, and marketing insights clearly to both internal stakeholders and clients through presentations and regular account discussions.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred, although equivalent relevant professional experience will be considered.
4-6+ years of experience in paid search, paid social, or related digital advertising roles.
Experience working within a digital marketing agency environment and exposure to broader online marketing programs.
4-6+ years of hands-on experience executing advertising campaigns through platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Meta Business Manager.
Proficiency with Google Analytics and the ability to interpret digital performance data to support strategic decisions.
Strong financial management skills, including experience managing substantial or multi-million-dollar advertising budgets.
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities, with the capacity to synthesize information from multiple sources and turn findings into actionable strategies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex campaign performance and recommendations clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
Strong project and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients, campaigns, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across cross-functional teams while also operating independently and taking ownership of assigned responsibilities.
Comfortable receiving direction, constructive feedback, and client or peer critique, and able to use feedback to continuously improve performance.
Dependable, ethical, professional, and highly organized, with a strong work ethic and consistent follow-through.
Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities, platforms, and marketing best practices continually evolve.
Strong emotional intelligence, cultural awareness, conflict-management skills, and an ability to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.
