The Challenge
Yubo is the Gen Z social discovery app redefining how millions connect online. You'll own global user acquisition strategy across 10+ countries, commanding a multi-million dollar monthly budget while building a smarter, more efficient acquisition machine.
Your Mission
Audit current UA strategy across all channels (paid, organic, ASO) and identify quick wins to reduce CAC by 10-15%
Establish baseline measurement framework using Adjust, Amplitude, and Looker to track incrementality and ROAS by channel
Lead creative testing sprints on Instagram, TikTok, Snap to identify high-performing creative patterns for Gen Z audiences
Meet with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to map acquisition funnel bottlenecks and prioritize 3-4 product improvements
Scale US acquisition efficiency: reduce cost per registration by 20%+ while maintaining quality user cohorts
Launch and validate 2-3 new acquisition channels beyond current paid mix to diversify media spend
Build and train UA team to operate independently on day-to-day optimization while you focus on strategic direction
Establish ASO + Paid partnership framework with Brand Marketing, resulting in coherent messaging and 15%+ lift in organic conversions
KPIs You'll Own
Cost Per Registration (CPR)
Track and reduce CPR across all channels, with target of 20%+ improvement in core markets within 6 months.
Return on Ad Spend (ROAS)
Measure ROAS by channel and campaign, focusing on 7-day and 30-day cohort LTV to ensure unit economics improve.
Incrementality & Attribution
Use Adjust and Amplitude to measure true incremental impact of paid campaigns versus organic baseline.
Channel Diversification
Track % of budget allocation across 10+ channels; reduce over-reliance on any single platform.
Creative Performance
Monitor creative test results by Gen Z audience segment; identify top-performing creative themes and iterate.
Team Productivity & Retention
Measure UA team velocity on optimization cycles and retention to ensure sustainable scaling.

- You've managed $1M+ monthly budgets for consumer mobile apps and know US acquisition inside-out
- You balance performance discipline with creative ambition—you don't think more spend always equals better results
- You're comfortable being hands-on while building and scaling a team across UA, creative strategy, and channels
- You obsess over incrementality, attribution, and unit economics—vanity metrics bore you
- You've only worked at enterprise SaaS and don't understand mobile app acquisition or Gen Z behavior
- You treat UA as a one-trick-pony spend-and-scale operation without strategic rigor
- You need remote flexibility—this role is on-site in Paris full-time
