The Challenge

TELUS Digital is a multi-billion-dollar digital consultancy backed by Canada's largest telecom. They're scaling their growth marketing engine across LATAM and need a hands-on operator to own P&L accountability across paid search, social, and emerging platforms while championing AI-driven optimization.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Audit and baseline current performance across Google Ads, DV360, Meta Ads, LinkedIn, and DSPs; identify quick-win optimization opportunities worth 15-20% efficiency gains

Build structured experimentation roadmap with creative, content, and data teams; launch first 3-5 prioritized tests (audience, creative, messaging, bid strategy)

Establish weekly channel performance reviews with P&L dashboards; set baseline KPIs and forecasts for Q2-Q4

4

Champion AI workflow adoption: integrate at least one Agentic AI tool into campaign optimization workflow and document learnings

By 6 Months
1

Drive net-new channel discovery; launch and scale emerging platform tests, document ROI, and allocate budget to winners

Deliver 25%+ efficiency improvement across core channels through advanced bid strategies, audience refinement, and creative optimization

Build and operationalize full-funnel experimentation culture: run 20+ tests, document playbooks, and scale winning variants

Partner with product and analytics teams to implement CDP-driven personalization; measure incrementality and revenue impact

KPIs You'll Own

ROAS / CPA by Channel

Track return on ad spend and cost per acquisition across paid search, social, programmatic; set and defend efficiency targets.

Pipeline Influenced & Revenue Attribution

Own accountability for pipeline generated and revenue influenced by paid channels; track month-over-month growth.

Test Velocity & Learning Rate

Number of structured experiments launched, statistical significance achieved, and winning variants scaled into production.

Budget Pacing & Forecast Accuracy

Hit monthly/quarterly budget targets and revenue forecasts within 5% variance; optimize spend allocation by channel.

AI Workflow Adoption & Impact

Track adoption of Agentic AI tools, time saved, and performance uplift from automation and optimization.
