The Challenge

Alvie is a 18-person AgTech startup scaling across France and Europe with a mission to reduce pesticide use in agriculture. You'll build marketing from the ground up, working directly with the CEO to drive commercial growth in a high-impact sector.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Define and execute a cohesive marketing and communications strategy aligned with commercial expansion roadmap

Establish baseline KPIs for all marketing channels and implement tracking infrastructure

Launch 2-3 co-marketing campaigns with partner organizations to generate qualified leads

4

Onboard and manage junior marketing team member and freelance resources

By 6 Months
1

Achieve 40%+ month-over-month growth in qualified leads from inbound marketing efforts

2

Execute 4+ successful trade shows/industry events with measurable attendance and lead conversion

3

Build social media presence to 5K+ engaged followers across LinkedIn and Instagram with 15%+ engagement rate

4

Establish repeatable lead generation process with Growth Hacker producing 100+ MQLs monthly

Monthly Qualified Leads

Track inbound and co-marketing campaign lead volume and quality score against sales pipeline

Campaign ROI

Measure cost per acquisition and revenue impact from each major marketing initiative

Event Performance

Monitor attendance, booth engagement, and lead conversion from trade shows and sponsored events

Social Media Engagement Rate

Track follower growth, engagement rate, and lead attribution from social channels

Marketing Funnel Velocity

Measure average time from lead capture to sales handoff and conversion rates by stage

For You If
  • You've successfully led marketing in B2B startups or scale-ups and thrive in resource-constrained, high-ownership environments
  • You have genuine interest in AgTech, sustainability, or climate tech and want your work to drive environmental impact
  • You're comfortable collaborating directly with founders on strategy while owning execution across channels (events, social, campaigns, lead gen)
  • You speak fluent French and intermediate English, can manage junior team members, and prefer on-site/hybrid work culture
Won't Work If
  • You need a large marketing budget or team right now-you'll be building both from scratch with bootstrap discipline
  • You lack hands-on execution experience and prefer managing agencies over doing marketing work directly
  • You require fully remote work or are unwilling to be based in Paris regularly
  • You have no interest in agriculture, sustainability, or impact-driven companies
