The Role
We're hiring a Director of Digital Marketing & Growth to take ownership of our digital customer-acquisition strategy.
This is not a social media or brand-marketing position.
We are looking for someone who understands performance marketing, lead generation, attribution, conversion, and scaling advertising spend profitably.
You will work directly with ownership and have significant influence over our marketing strategy and budget.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Google Ads / PPC
- Google Local Services Ads
- SEO and Local SEO
- Google Business Profiles
- Meta / Facebook advertising
- Landing pages and conversion optimization
- Website performance
- Call tracking and attribution
- CRM and marketing analytics
- Lead-quality analysis
- Marketing automation and remarketing
- Managing outside agencies and specialists
- Allocating marketing budget across channels
- Developing and testing new acquisition strategies
- Building weekly marketing performance reporting
You do not need to personally execute every function.
You do need to understand digital marketing deeply enough to manage specialists, hold agencies accountable, identify problems, and determine where we should invest the next marketing dollar.
How We Measure Marketing
We're not interested in vanity metrics.
We want visibility into:
Spend → Leads → Qualified Calls → Booked Appointments → Completed Jobs → Sold Jobs → Revenue → Gross Profit
Our goal is to understand exactly what we're spending, what's producing revenue, and where we can profitably scale.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with a demonstrated track record in performance marketing and customer acquisition.
Ideal experience includes:
- 5+ years of digital/performance marketing experience
- Experience managing significant paid-media budgets
- Strong Google Ads/PPC expertise
- Strong understanding of SEO and local search
- Experience with Google Local Services Ads
- Understanding of Meta advertising
- Strong knowledge of CAC, CPL, ROAS, conversion rates, attribution, and LTV
- Experience with call-driven or appointment-based businesses
- Experience managing marketing agencies and vendors
- Strong analytical and financial skills
- Experience connecting marketing campaigns to actual closed revenue
Home-services experience is strongly preferred.
Experience in plumbing, sewer/drain, HVAC, electrical, roofing, restoration, or another local service business
What Success Looks Like
Within your first 90 days, we expect you to:
- Audit our current marketing spend, campaigns, agencies, website, SEO, tracking, and attribution
- Establish accurate reporting from marketing source through closed revenue
- Identify wasted spend and opportunities for additional investment
- Improve lead quality and conversion
- Develop a clear customer-acquisition strategy
- Build a weekly executive marketing scorecard
- Begin testing new campaigns, offers, landing pages, and channels
- Create a roadmap for scaling our marketing investment significantly
Why This Opportunity Is Different
Many marketing leaders spend their careers trying to convince ownership to invest more in growth.
That will not be your problem here.
We are willing to spend aggressively when the economics make sense.
If you can show that investing another $100,000 will predictably generate profitable growth, we're prepared to make that investment.
We're looking for someone who wants the responsibility and opportunity to build a serious marketing engine inside a rapidly growing company.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
Benefits:
- Health insurance
- Paid time off
Work Location: In person
