The Challenge
Botanik is a rapidly scaling digital marketing agency with 9 SEO consultants already on team. You'll own a diverse client portfolio across startups to enterprises, driving referential strategy and measurable visibility gains while mentoring junior consultants.
Your Mission
Complete onboarding program and shadow existing consultants to internalize Botanik's SEO methodology and client playbook
Take ownership of 3-4 strategic client accounts, deliver initial comprehensive SEO audits identifying technical, semantic, and off-site opportunities
Establish weekly reporting cadence and trust-building calls with assigned clients, baseline current KPI performance
Contribute 2+ RFP pre-audits and recommendations to support sales pipeline
Drive measurable organic traffic growth across portfolio (target: 25-40% avg improvement in 6-month window)
Lead 3+ major strategic initiatives (technical migration, semantic restructure, or netlinking campaigns) from strategy through execution
Build internal thought leadership: deliver 2+ workshop sessions or training modules to broader team on emerging SEO trends
Expand portfolio to 5-6 accounts with documented monthly QBRs showing revenue impact and renewal confidence

Organic Traffic Growth %
Month-over-month and year-over-year organic session growth across assigned client portfolio, weighted by account size.
Keyword Ranking Improvement
Count of keywords entering top 3, top 10, and top 20 positions tracked via Ahrefs/SEMRush across portfolio.
Client Retention Rate
Percentage of assigned accounts retained quarter-over-quarter, measured against contract renewal dates.
Audit Delivery Time
Average days to complete and present a comprehensive SEO audit from kickoff to client presentation.
Reporting Compliance
On-time delivery of weekly, monthly, and QBR reports to assigned clients (target: 100%).

- You have 3+ years hands-on SEO experience and deeply understand technical SEO (crawl optimization, server logs, site structure) plus semantic strategy
- You're fluent in Ahrefs, SEMRush, Screaming Frog and can translate audit findings into client-ready recommendations
- You enjoy client-facing strategy work and can present complex SEO concepts to non-technical stakeholders with clarity and pedagogy

- You need 100% remote work—this role is strictly on-site in Paris
- You lack foundational HTML/CSS/JavaScript understanding or refuse to engage with technical web development concepts
- You prefer deep specialization in one channel (e.g., PPC only) over owning end-to-end SEO strategy across multiple client accounts
