The Challenge

A growth consulting firm backed by mobile gaming expertise is hunting for a VP who can lead strategy and execution across multiple game titles. You'll report to the COO, mentor a team of 4, and get hands-on with high-impact clients while shaping how games acquire, retain, and monetize at scale.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Audit current growth processes, KPI tracking, and reporting-establish baseline metrics and identify quick wins across active client engagements

Lead onboarding and capability mapping for your 4-person team; define roles, growth verticals (UA/ASO/monetization/retention), and performance standards

Conduct deep-dive growth audits on 2-3 flagship client titles; deliver strategic recommendations tied to user acquisition cost (UAC) and lifetime value (LTV) improvements

4

Build a standardized growth playbook covering UA strategy, ASO best practices, monetization frameworks, and retention mechanics applicable across the portfolio

By 6 Months

Scale revenue impact: drive 20-30% improvement in average client LTV:CAC ratios through optimized acquisition and retention strategies

Expand service offerings by documenting proven frameworks and case studies; position firm as thought leader in mobile gaming growth strategy

Strengthen team capability: develop and execute 1-on-1 mentoring plans; train team to independently lead client audits and strategy sprints

Improve operational efficiency: implement centralized analytics dashboard, standardized reporting cadence, and commercial scoping methodology
