The Challenge
CookUnity is delivering 50M meals/year from independent chefs and scaling fast. You'll own the entire paid social engine across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and emerging platforms—managing $20MM+ budgets with ruthless efficiency to hit ROAS and CAC targets that power the company's growth.
Your Mission
Audit and optimize current paid social spend across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and Snapchat; identify performance gaps and quick wins within first 30 days
Establish baseline metrics and forecasting models for ROAS, CAC, payback period, and budget efficiency across all platforms
Launch structured creative testing roadmap with 3-5 high-priority tests (video vs. static, UGC angles, audience segments) and track learnings
Build cross-functional alignment with SEO, product, lifecycle, and creative teams; schedule weekly syncs and document funnel gaps
Scale paid social budgets 20-30% while maintaining or improving ROAS through systematic testing and algorithm optimization
Own and operationalize dynamic product ads and retargeting programs; measure incremental lift vs. baseline and optimize feed quality
Deliver accurate quarterly forecasting with scenario modeling; present performance insights and strategic recommendations to leadership monthly
Stay ahead of platform innovation; implement 2-3 new features or formats (Reels, TikTok Shop, emerging ad types) and measure impact on growth
KPIs You'll Own
ROAS (Return on Ad Spend)
Revenue generated per dollar spent on paid social; your north star for efficiency.
CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost)
Cost to acquire one customer; must align with LTV targets and payback period goals.
Paid Social Budget Spend & Pacing
Weekly and monthly budget utilization across platforms; identify and mitigate performance risks early.
Creative Performance & Test Learnings
CTR, conversion rate, and incremental lift by creative format, audience, and messaging angle.
Platform-Specific Metrics
CPC, CPM, CTR, and algorithm optimization signals by Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and Snapchat.

- You've managed $20MM+ in paid social budgets for D2C or ecommerce brands and can speak fluently to ROAS, CAC, and payback period optimization

- You have deep hands-on expertise in Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, Pinterest Ads, and dynamic product ads / catalog campaigns

- You're uncomfortable with full ownership and autonomous decision-making; you need constant approval or hand-holding
- You lack hands-on expertise in paid social platform tools or haven't managed budgets at scale ($20MM+); this is execution + strategy, not theory
