Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You've scaled creative operations from scrappy to systematic-you know when to hire, automate, or restructure to unlock velocity
  • You're obsessed with the intersection of brand and performance; you speak both brand safety *and* ROAS in the same breath
  • You've led high-volume creative production (100+ assets/month); you know how to brief, QA, and optimize at scale
  • You're hands-on: you write copy, critique concepts, and jump into production when it matters-but you're also building systems so you don't have to
Won't Work If
  • You prefer creative purity over performance metrics; brand and growth feel like opposing forces to you
  • You need remote flexibility or want to avoid on-site presence in Austin; this role requires in-person leadership and production oversight
  • You've never managed a team or struggled with people leadership; this role is 40% people management, 40% strategy, 20% execution

Confirm growth marketing and creative ops background; discuss your scaling experience

2

Creative brief + case study

Walk through a past project: how you diagnosed creative bottlenecks, built systems, and drove performance gains

3

Meet with Growth Lead, PMM, Brand Director, and possibly existing creative team members to assess collaboration fit

4

Executive interview

Discuss creative strategy, roadmap vision, and how you'd communicate trade-offs to leadership
