Join Nexans, a global leader in cables and cabling systems, as a Marketing Analyst. In this role, you will support the Marketing Director in developing tools and models to analyze the data center market worldwide, organize competition knowledge, and structure marketing content for communication purposes. You will work closely with local teams and use AI tools to build a worldwide data center market analysis model, create a shared space for competition analysis, and build marketing assets in line with the marketing communication strategy. This position is based in Paris HQ and requires fluency in English and French, strong organizational skills, and an appetite for industrial products and worldwide environments.

Context

Nexans is accelerating its growth across strategic markets, driven by electrification, energy transition, and increasing demand for complex, multi-country infrastructure solutions. To support this ambition, Nexans is strengthening its Business Development organization and reinforcing its marketing, with a special focus on data centers.

Purpose

  • Support Marketing director in developing a set of tools and models to understand the data center market worldwide
  • Organise competition knowledge
  • Structure & formalise marketing content for communication purposes

Areas of responsibility

Built tools and models to size and forecast the data center market worldwide for cables :

  • In close contact with worldwide local teams, as well as by using AI tools when appropriate, list potential data sources and develop a worldwide data center market analysis model
  • From this model, build data center top down budget & medium term planning, for future alignment of production capacities

Organise competition knowledge :

  • List actors to watch, with a broad spectrum going above pure cable manufacturers, and create shared spaces for that
  • Format and build knowledge, animate a sharing community

Structure & formalise marketing content for communication purposes :

  • Build marketing assets in line with marketing communication strategy and roadmap (case studies, product and offer content…)
  • Support internal communication on the intranet with articles on events and news
  • Support trade show and events organization in the data center community worldwide (coordinate participations and key objectives setting for those events, create necessary connexions and support with potential Marcom tools)

Expected results

  • Data center worldwide market sizing with forecasts and budgeting means
  • Organized and shared competition analysis
  • Active support to building communication assets and coordinating within the community being built
