Position Overview
Are you highly detail-oriented with a strong interest in data, systems, and lifecycle marketing? Join our CRM team at VaynerX and gain hands-on experience supporting enterprise-level CRM platforms and marketing automation initiatives.
This residency is designed for early-career talent eager to understand how data, messaging, and systems work together to build and nurture long-term consumer relationships. You will support CRM operations across VaynerX clients, helping organize, maintain, and optimize systems that power marketing and relationship management efforts.
This role offers exposure to real-world lifecycle strategies, CRM clean-up initiatives, and marketing operations in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
Responsibilities
- Support execution of CRM clean-up initiatives across Salesforce and HubSpot
- Maintain CRM databases, contact lists, and audience segments
- Assist in organizing and managing client and internal relationship data
- Document processes and contribute to workflow improvements
- Help troubleshoot basic CRM platform issues
- Support lifecycle marketing efforts through data management and segmentation
- Collaborate with CRM, analytics, and performance marketing teams
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across platforms
- Assist in reporting and tracking CRM performance metrics
- Contribute to ongoing system optimization and operational efficiency initiatives
- Strong interest in CRM, lifecycle marketing, marketing operations, or data systems
- Familiarity with CRM or email platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Seamless, Klaviyo, Adobe, or similar) is a plus
- High attention to detail and comfort working within systems and spreadsheets
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Process-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Curious, eager to learn, and adaptable in fast-paced environments
- Technologically proficient, especially within Google Suite and data management tools
- Dependable and accountable with strong follow-through
- Hands-on experience with enterprise CRM and marketing automation tools
- Exposure to lifecycle marketing and retention strategies
- Mentorship from CRM, analytics, and performance marketing leaders
- A strong operational foundation in CRM and marketing systems
- Experience working across multiple clients within the VaynerX ecosystem
- Potential consideration for full-time opportunities post-residency (performance-based)
- Hybrid role with 3-4 days required on-site in the NYC office
- Full-time commitment (40 hours per week)
- Business hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm ET
