The Challenge
Raisin is a $80B AUM fintech platform scaling its US direct-to-consumer savings business. You'll build the CRM strategy and analytics engine from the ground up—owning the entire customer lifecycle from onboarding through retention, with the speed of a startup backed by a global fintech operating across 4 countries.
Your Mission
Audit current CRM stack, tools, and customer journey mapping; define gaps and quick wins for the US platform
Establish baseline KPI framework and measurement foundation across onboarding, activation, engagement, and retention
Hire and onboard core CRM team (estimated 2-3 direct reports minimum); define roles and ownership model
Launch first 2-3 high-impact customer segments with personalized engagement campaigns and A/B test framework
Deliver comprehensive customer segmentation strategy (behavioral, demographic, transactional) driving 15%+ improvement in retention KPIs
Execute retention and win-back campaign roadmap with data-backed playbooks; measure incremental revenue impact
Build Voice of Customer program; integrate customer feedback into product and marketing roadmaps systematically
Scale experimentation capacity: run 8+ A/B tests, optimize channel mix, and demonstrate clear ROI on CRM spend
KPIs You'll Own
Customer Retention Rate (by cohort & segment)
Track retention curves for deposit products; benchmark against industry and prior cohorts to measure CRM program impact.
Churn Prediction Accuracy & Win-Back Rate
Measure predictive model performance on at-risk customers and conversion rate of win-back campaigns.
Campaign ROI & Cost per Engaged Customer
Monitor efficiency of email, push, and digital campaigns; track incremental revenue per dollar spent.
Lifetime Value (LTV) & Product Adoption Rate
Measure customer value growth and cross-product usage; tie CRM interventions to LTV improvement.
Net Promoter Score (NPS) & Customer Satisfaction
Track sentiment and satisfaction by segment; use as leading indicator for retention and growth.

Is This Role For You?
- You've built CRM or customer engagement programs at scale (ideally 500K+ user base) with measurable retention impact
- You're fluent in analytics: SQL, cohort analysis, experimentation design, and linking CRM to business metrics
- You thrive leading teams and building functions from scratch; you're as comfortable with spreadsheets as strategy
- You have FinTech or financial services experience (banking, payments, wealth, lending) and understand regulatory nuance
- You expect a fully staffed team and mature CRM infrastructure on day one; this is a build-and-scale role
- You're allergic to analytics or prefer campaign execution over data-driven strategy and testing
- You've only worked in B2B or highly transactional CRM; this requires deep consumer behavior expertise
