Accountabilities

- Execute the annual research roadmap, managing projects from research strategy and methodology through data collection, analysis, and delivery.

- Design surveys and research approaches that generate relevant, credible, and actionable market insights.

- Manage relationships with research vendors, survey providers, data partners, and external thought leadership organizations.

- Oversee data quality, research processes, analytical standards, and the effective use of proprietary and external data sources.

- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and insights, partnering with internal analytics teams where appropriate.

- Translate research findings into clear recommendations, compelling narratives, executive-ready insights, and supporting proof points.

- Author flagship reports, research studies, data spotlights, briefing documents, and other thought leadership assets.

- Develop presentations, articles, conference abstracts, social content, executive briefings, webinars, and related research-driven materials.

- Work with content teams to maximize the reach, reuse, and business impact of research findings.

- Leverage emerging AI tools and content technologies to improve research workflows, insight development, content creation, and content repurposing.

- Partner with marketing, customer success, product, communications, and leadership teams to align research priorities with business and industry needs.

- Facilitate ongoing engagement with internal stakeholders and advisory groups to ensure research addresses meaningful market challenges.

- Create resources that enable internal teams to confidently apply and communicate research insights.

- Represent the research function at conferences, webinars, media opportunities, and industry events.

- Develop conference proposals, speaking submissions, and external content that strengthen thought leadership and market visibility.

- Build relationships with research and thought leadership organizations and support external visibility initiatives.

Requirements

- 5-8+ years of experience in research, thought leadership, content strategy, insights, analytics, publishing, or a related field.

- Demonstrated experience designing, managing, and delivering primary research studies from concept through final output.

- Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret complex information and identify meaningful trends.

- Exceptional writing, storytelling, communication, and presentation skills.

- Proven ability to transform complex data and research findings into compelling, accessible business narratives.

- Experience developing executive-level reports, presentations, research content, and thought leadership materials.

- Experience managing external research vendors, data partners, survey providers, or similar third parties.

- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across marketing, product, communications, analytics, and leadership teams.

- Comfortable serving as a public-facing subject matter expert through presentations, webinars, media opportunities, and industry events.

- Strong judgment and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple research initiatives and priorities simultaneously.

- Curiosity about emerging AI and content technologies and their practical applications in research, analytics, and content development.

- Ability to connect research findings to broader business priorities and identify insights that can inform strategic decisions.
