The Challenge

Little Cigogne is a fast-moving fashion e-commerce startup (80 people) where you'll own real growth levers across brand, acquisition, and product. You'll sit at the intersection of UX optimization, competitive intelligence, and campaign execution in a sector where every conversion and customer journey refinement moves the needle.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Map and audit top 10 competitor e-commerce experiences in kids fashion (FR/DE/NL) with specific UX/CX recommendations

2

Own the content calendar for Q2—brief, launch, and track 4-6 marketing campaigns across web and email

3

Conduct user journey analysis on current site and document 8-10 high-impact optimization opportunities (product pages, checkout, loyalty)

4

Get fluent in stack: GA4, your email platform, and product management tool—run first independent campaign analysis

By 6 Months
1

Launch and measure 2 major site experience improvements (new feature, redesigned product page, personalization test) with before/after metrics

2

Build quarterly benchmark report comparing your metrics to competitors—CAC, conversion rate, AOV, repeat purchase rate

3

Support international expansion: coordinate and document France → Germany/Netherlands rollout requirements with Country Managers

4

Deliver 3+ data-driven recommendations that moved conversion rate or customer retention (with financial impact)

KPIs You'll Own

Track weekly conversion rate changes from your optimizations and A/B tests.

Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You're a commerce obsessive—you actually enjoy pulling apart competitor sites and finding micro-conversions
  • You speak numbers fluently and can tell a story with data (GA4, spreadsheets, basic SQL is a plus)
  • You want hands-on ownership day one: launching campaigns, optimizing pages, analyzing results—not watching from the sidelines
  • You're comfortable in controlled chaos: fast pivots, learning new tools on the fly, wearing multiple hats
Won't Work If
  • You prefer agency-side process and formal handoffs over direct execution
  • Data analysis feels like a chore rather than the best part of the job
  • You need remote flexibility—this is full-time Paris on-site only

Interview Process

1

Conversation about your e-commerce experience, curiosity about their brand/competitors, and motivation

2

Take-home Case

Analyze a competitor e-commerce experience or review provided data set; present findings and recommendations

3

Team Interview

Meet Marketing Manager or Head of Marketing; discuss your approach to projects and collaboration style

4

Final Round

Possible founder or senior leader conversation to assess cultural fit and ambition
