The Brot Box is an e-commerce startup founded in 2021 by Cem and Andi during their journey through California. The idea was born when they realized how limited bread offerings in the US were-most loaves came with long ingredient lists full of additives and preservatives.
Coming from Europe, they were used to real bread: artisan, fresh-baked, simple, and delicious. Their mission is simple: make good, healthy, and traditional bread accessible to everyone in the US-delivered straight to their doorstep.
Since 2021, The Brot Box has shipped direct-to-consumer. Most of our bread and rolls are delivered partially baked, so customers can finish baking them at home. It’s bread that’s always fresh, always convenient, and always ready.
The Role
We’re looking for a creative, food-loving UGC creator + social media enthusiast to join our small but ambitious team. This isn’t a “just post pictures” job-you’ll be the voice, the eye, and the energy of The Brot Box on Instagram and beyond. From styling bread for photoshoots to producing scroll-stopping Reels, you’ll help us grow a community of people who love good bread as much as we do.
This is a part-time paid, flexible-hours role-perfect for someone who’s self-motivated, curious, and excited to grow with a startup.
Responsibilities
As our UGC creator and social media manager, you will
- -Plan and produce creative content (photos, Reels, Shorts) that make our bread shine
-Prepare and style products for photo and video shoots
-Post consistently on Instagram and Meta, aligned with our brand tone and campaigns
-Research and use trending formats, hashtags, and sounds to maximize reach
-Engage daily with followers, food communities, and potential customers
- -Track performance (reach, engagement, growth) and suggest improvements
-Collaborate with our team on seasonal campaigns, launches, and creative ideas
The ideal candidate
-Has strong knowledge of Instagram/Facebook/TikTok and short-form video trends
-Loves creating content and experimenting with new formats
-Is a self-starter who thrives in a small, fast-moving team
-Enjoys food culture (bonus if you love baking or bread!)
-Is curious, resourceful, and not afraid to figure things out when the answer isn’t obvious
