The Challenge

Scytale is the G2-leading AI compliance platform expanding into the US—their most critical growth market. You're the founding sales hire building the entire US go-to-market from zero, owning pipeline, positioning, partnerships, and the first lighthouse customers.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Generate $500K+ qualified pipeline through outbound, events, and network activation

2

Close 2-3 initial anchor customers that validate US ICP and messaging

3

Map 10+ partnership opportunities and establish 2-3 pilot relationships

4

Define repeatable sales process, buyer personas, and messaging for US market

By 6 Months
1

Hit $1M+ pipeline across 3+ scalable channels (outbound, partnerships, events)

Close 5-8 customers demonstrating product-market fit and unit economics

Validate 1-2 growth channels with clear CAC and LTV metrics

4

Document playbook and processes to hire and onboard first sales team member

Percentage of pipeline sourced through partner channels vs. direct outbound.

Fully-loaded cost per closed customer to inform scaling strategy.

  • You thrive in ambiguity and can operate as a team of one while shaping strategy
  • You have deep knowledge of US B2B buyer behavior and preferably a strong local network
  • You're commercially sharp, results-driven, and energized by founding-stage challenges

  • You've only managed teams or territories at large enterprises—we need a builder, not a manager
  • You need heavy process, hand-holding, or reporting structure to stay motivated
  • You're looking for a remote role or flexibility to work outside NYC
