The Challenge

Amazon's Kindle Direct Publishing needs a strategic Product Marketing Manager to own KDP's growth across Brazil's emerging self-publishing market. You'll drive author acquisition and retention while building positioning that resonates with indie creators, traditional publishers, and readers alike.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Conduct deep segment analysis of Brazilian author base (indie vs. traditional) and identify top 3 growth levers for Q1 campaigns

Define and launch KDP's positioning framework for Brazil market with messaging playbooks for each author segment

3

Establish baseline metrics dashboard tracking new selection growth, author acquisition cost, and retention rates

4

Build relationships with 10-15 key Brazilian authors/publishers and document their top 5 pain points

By 6 Months

Execute 3 major GTM campaigns (product launch, author recognition program, promotional event) with documented ROI

2

Grow new author selection by 25-35% through targeted acquisition programs and content marketing

3

Improve author retention rate by 15-20% via engagement programs and community initiatives

4

Partner with Product team to influence roadmap with 2-3 validated feature requests from author feedback
