The Challenge

Talkiatry is scaling mental healthcare with accessible, human-centered psychiatry. You'll own the paid growth engine driving patient acquisition at meaningful scale, balancing CAC efficiency with volume ambitions while building the forecasting rigor and channel diversity that powers next-stage growth.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Audit current paid portfolio performance across Meta, Google, TikTok, Reddit, Affiliate, ZocDoc, and offline channels; establish baseline CAC by channel and identify quick efficiency wins

Build weekly/monthly forecasting models and pacing dashboards that tie paid investment directly to CAC and visit volume targets—get stakeholders aligned on metrics

Design and launch a structured experimentation framework; allocate 10-15% of budget to high-impact pilots (new channels, creative angles, audience segments)

4

Present annual paid growth strategy to leadership with 12-18 month roadmap, investment recommendations, and explicit assumptions on CAC curves and channel expansion

By 6 Months

Deliver proven efficiency improvements across core channels; demonstrate CAC reduction of 10-15% or equivalent volume growth at flat/reduced spend

Integrate 1-2 emerging offline channels (podcasts, CTV) into core planning; bring strategic ownership in-house while maintaining agency partnerships for execution

Build and operationalize creative testing engine; run structured A/B tests across channels with documented learning loops and iteration velocity

Grow team capability: hire or upskill 1-2 paid specialists; document playbooks for channel management, creative briefs, and forecasting so function scales with business

KPIs You'll Own

Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) by channel

Track CAC across digital (Meta, Google, TikTok, Reddit, Affiliate, ZocDoc) and offline (Podcasts, CTV); report weekly/monthly and vs. target.

Patient acquisition volume

Total new patients acquired via paid channels; measure absolute volume and cohort contribution to company bookings.

Paid marketing ROAS / LTV:CAC ratio

Return on ad spend and lifetime value to CAC ratio; ensure paid acquisition remains profitable as scale increases.

Channel mix & diversification

% of volume from top 3 channels; track trend toward a healthier, more resilient portfolio.

Forecasting accuracy

Compare monthly/quarterly forecast vs. actual on CAC and volume; aim for <10% variance.

Experimentation velocity

# of structured tests launched per month; conversion rate of pilots into core channels.

  • You've managed $5M+ paid budgets across multiple digital channels and understand CAC modeling, forecasting, and unit economics at scale

  • You're comfortable with ambiguity and data gaps; you know how to build bottom-up models and challenge assumptions with rigor
