Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You've thrived in management consulting, corporate development, banking, or strategy roles with 8-10 years of experience in fast-moving environments
  • You love scoping ambiguous problems, building financial models, and translating complex analysis into clear executive narratives
  • You're equally comfortable with quantitative rigor and qualitative storytelling; you can influence without formal authority
  • You want early exposure to board-level strategy and the chance to grow into leading a team; you thrive in high-visibility, high-impact work
Won't Work If
  • You need visa sponsorship or require remote/hybrid flexibility; this is on-site Bay Area only with no sponsorship offered
  • You prefer hands-on execution over strategic analysis; this role is about insight, recommendation, and operationalization-not day-to-day tactics
  • You avoid ambiguity or need crystal-clear job scope from day one; you'll be scoping novel strategic initiatives with incomplete information
  • You're not interested in mentoring and developing junior talent; this role includes a growing team component

Interview Process

1

Recruiter screen

Confirm background, interest, and visa/authorization status (deal-breaker for this role)

2

Case study or analytical assessment

Submit or discuss a prior strategic analysis or business case you've led; focus on problem scoping, methodology, and impact

3

Hiring manager round

Deep dive on growth strategy experience, cross-functional collaboration, and how you translate analysis to action

4

Executive leadership round

Meet with Chief Strategy Officer / Chief Commercial Officer to discuss company priorities, your approach to key challenges, and strategic fit

5

Board or final round (optional)

Potential conversation with Board member or C-level peer depending on fit and executive team structure
