About Native Nation Events Native Nation Events is a leading national conference and training organization producing industry-driven events for Native American Tribes and enterprises. We bring together Tribal leaders, business executives, and government agencies to exchange ideas, make connections, and create positive change. We’re seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy Marketing Associate to join our team and help us grow our event reach and impact.
Position Summary
As a Marketing Associate, you’ll play a critical role in executing marketing campaigns that drive attendance, sponsorship, and engagement for our conferences. You will work closely with the Marketing Manager and internal departments to ensure consistent branding and high-performing campaigns-particularly email marketing. This role requires someone who is a strong writer, detail-obsessed, organized, and resourceful, with a passion for events and digital marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, write, and execute promotional email campaigns to attract attendees and sponsors for multiple conferences
- Utilize and manage HubSpot to build campaigns, manage contact lists, and track performance metrics
- Craft compelling subject lines and content with a focus on conversions and clean design
- Proofread all communications for accuracy, tone, grammar, and formatting
- Monitor campaign performance (open/click rates, conversions) and recommend optimizations
- Manage and update content on WordPress websites
- Support social media content creation and scheduling (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook)
- Coordinate post-conference communications, surveys, and reporting
- Assist with the preparation and shipping of marketing supplies and sponsor materials to event sites
- Work closely with designers to develop on-brand graphics for digital and print
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field-or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, with a strong focus on email marketing and content creation
- Hands-on experience with HubSpot (or similar CRM/email platform) strongly preferred
- Proven ability to write clear, engaging, and persuasive copy for marketing campaigns
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to proofread/edit for clarity and tone
- Familiarity with WordPress and basic CMS tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Working knowledge of design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus
- Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple deadlines
- Event or conference marketing experience is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $45,000-$50,000/year (based on experience)

Schedule:
