The Challenge
Lendio is the nation's leading small business financing platform. They're looking for a Growth Engineer who can move fast—shipping experiments, landing pages, and automations in days while maintaining code quality. You'll be the bridge between marketing strategy and functional engineering.
Your Mission
Ship 3-5 live growth experiments (landing pages, funnels, microsites) using AI-assisted development; track conversion lift vs. baseline
Integrate 2-3 critical APIs (CRM, analytics, lead enrichment) to automate data flow and reduce manual marketing ops work by 20%+
Build 1-2 internal utilities (scripts, automations, dashboards) that unlock a competitive edge in lead routing or acquisition
Establish a repeatable AI-assisted development workflow with the marketing team; document best practices for prompt engineering and code review
Own a portfolio of 10+ live projects demonstrating measurable CAC reduction or conversion lift; present learnings to leadership
Scale the experimentation cadence: deploy weekly A/B tests with statistical rigor; achieve 2-3x faster iteration cycles
Build a suite of 5+ internal marketing tools that reduce manual work and empower the team to self-serve growth initiatives
Coach marketing ICs on AI tools and modern web stacks; establish Lendio as an internally recognized hub for AI-driven marketing engineering

- You've shipped live projects—landing pages, microsites, or tools—and can show working code or live links
- You're fluent in modern web stacks (React, Next.js) and backend scripting (Python, Node) and can debug without hand-holding
- You use LLMs as a force multiplier for development speed, not a crutch; you own the logic and quality
- You thrive in fast-paced, experiment-driven environments where 'done and learning' beats 'perfect'
- You have 2+ years in software engineering or growth marketing and real experience with API integrations at scale
