Accountabilities:

The Manager, Digital Marketing Automation is responsible for leading marketing automation initiatives, managing campaign operations, and optimizing digital engagement strategies. This role combines people leadership, marketing technology expertise, and data-driven decision-making to deliver effective customer experiences and measurable business results.

  • Lead and manage a team of digital marketing professionals, providing coaching, development, and operational guidance.

  • Establish team priorities, allocate resources, and ensure campaigns are delivered accurately and efficiently.

  • Drive operational excellence across campaign planning, execution, quality assurance, reporting, and platform optimization.

  • Develop and execute digital marketing automation strategies across email, web, social, and other customer engagement channels.

  • Oversee global marketing campaigns focused on customer acquisition, lead nurturing, engagement, and retention.

  • Manage marketing automation calendars and ensure alignment across regional and cross-functional teams.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to create audience-focused campaigns based on segmentation, personalization, and lifecycle strategies.

  • Utilize marketing automation platforms and customer data platforms to build, optimize, and scale campaigns.

  • Support audience segmentation, journey mapping, personalization efforts, lead scoring, and automated customer workflows.

  • Ensure data accuracy, enrichment, governance, and compliance across CRM, CDP, and marketing technology systems.

  • Monitor campaign performance through KPIs, dashboards, and reporting by campaign, audience, region, and lifecycle stage.

  • Partner with analytics teams to identify insights and recommend improvements based on performance data.

  • Lead testing strategies, including A/B and multivariate testing, to improve engagement and conversion metrics.

  • Define and improve marketing automation processes, documentation, workflows, and standard operating procedures.

  • Contribute to marketing technology strategy, integrations, and future platform enhancements.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable data privacy regulations and responsible use of customer information.

Requirements: The ideal candidate is an experienced digital marketing leader with expertise in marketing automation, campaign optimization, and team management. This professional should be comfortable combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution while working across technical and business teams in a fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, marketing automation, or related disciplines.

  • 2+ years of experience managing and developing team members.

  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms such as Adobe Marketo Engage, Adobe Real-Time CDP, Adobe Target, or similar solutions.

  • Strong understanding of B2B demand generation, lifecycle marketing, segmentation, lead nurturing, and campaign automation.

  • Experience managing global or multi-region marketing programs.

  • Proven ability to develop and optimize email marketing strategies and multi-channel campaigns.

  • Strong project management and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives.

  • Experience working with CRM systems such as Salesforce or similar platforms.

  • Analytical mindset with experience using reporting and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Excel, Power BI, QlikView, or comparable solutions.

  • Ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.

  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA and their impact on marketing practices.

  • Experience with B2B eCommerce, healthcare, life sciences, or similar industries is preferred.

  • Familiarity with SEO, taxonomy, content tagging, personalization strategies, and digital experience optimization is a plus.

  • Experience with project management tools such as Adobe Workfront, Asana, Jira, or similar platforms is preferred.
