Accountabilities:
The Director, Web Growth will be responsible for driving web-based revenue growth by owning performance across the customer journey, optimizing digital experiences, and building scalable growth capabilities. This role requires strategic vision combined with the ability to analyze data, prioritize opportunities, and execute initiatives in partnership with cross-functional teams.
Own web-driven revenue growth and overall contribution economics, using business outcomes as the primary measure of success.
Develop and optimize the complete web customer lifecycle, identifying opportunities to improve acquisition, conversion, retention, and customer value.
Lead paid search strategy, budget allocation, and performance management while guiding internal teams and external partners.
Partner closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to analyze customer behavior, identify funnel challenges, and prioritize conversion improvements.
Build and manage a structured experimentation program across landing pages, user journeys, and conversion optimization initiatives.
Establish SEO and content capabilities by evaluating opportunities, selecting appropriate resources, and creating scalable growth strategies.
Provide strategic input into paid social, lifecycle marketing, and other growth channels where they impact web performance.
Develop a clear strategy for balancing web experiences and mobile application growth, supported by data-driven insights.
Use full-funnel business metrics, including customer acquisition cost, lifetime value, contribution margin, and average order value, to guide decisions.
Create dashboards, reporting frameworks, and operating rhythms to ensure visibility into performance and growth opportunities.
Collaborate with leadership teams to define priorities, communicate progress, and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements: The ideal candidate is an experienced growth leader with a strong background in web strategy, digital optimization, and revenue-focused marketing. This role requires expertise in scaling growth initiatives, managing cross-functional teams, and using data to make strategic decisions.
8-12 years of experience in growth, web product, eCommerce, conversion optimization, or related fields.
2-3+ years of experience owning revenue, GMV, or business outcomes across multiple growth channels.
Strong web product expertise with the ability to analyze funnels, identify issues, develop hypotheses, and partner with technical teams to implement solutions.
Advanced understanding of paid search strategy and the ability to guide SEM teams effectively.
Strong knowledge of full-funnel economics, including CAC, LTV, contribution margin, and AOV.
Experience building new capabilities, teams, channels, or vendor partnerships from an early stage.
Proven track record of being accountable for business results rather than individual channel performance metrics.
Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Experience with SEO, content strategy, experimentation frameworks, or marketplace businesses is a plus.
Familiarity with web-to-app growth strategies, pricing or promotional initiatives, and AI-powered growth tools is a plus.
