The Challenge

Writesonic is pioneering Generative Engine Optimization—helping brands own visibility across ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity. You'll build the growth playbook for a category that didn't exist 18 months ago, working directly with the founder to scale a profitable, YC-backed platform.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Launch and optimize 2+ multi-channel campaigns (paid + email + content) that drive qualified B2B leads with documented conversion rates

Build your AI toolkit: document 3-5 repeatable workflows using ChatGPT/Claude/Zapier that cut campaign execution time by 30%+

Set up core growth reporting dashboard tracking CAC, MQL→SQL conversion, and channel ROI across LinkedIn, Google, email

Execute LinkedIn thought leader flywheel for founder: 4+ campaigns with engagement capture and warm follow-up sequences

By 6 Months
1

Prove one new channel or tactic (webinars, ABM, YouTube, affiliate, etc.) with documented unit economics and repeatability

Scale 2 winning campaigns from month 3 to 2-3x volume while maintaining or improving CAC

Build self-service marketing automation that lets sales and product launch campaigns without marketing bottleneck

Own product launch GTM for 1+ feature: positioning brief, campaign calendar, asset production, cross-functional coordination

Measure end-to-end conversion from ad/email impression through MQL → SQL → close

Monitor thought leader post reach, engagement rate, and qualified lead capture from organic + paid boosting

Time-to-Launch

Measure campaign velocity: days from brief to live execution across all channels

AI-Assisted Output

Track campaigns/assets produced per person per month and % created with AI assistance

For You If
  • You've run 2+ full-funnel B2B campaigns end-to-end and can prove ROI with real numbers
  • You use ChatGPT/Claude daily and have built basic automations (Zapier/Make); AI is a multiplier, not a trend to you
  • You're comfortable being the generalist: depth in 2 areas (paid + content, or email + product marketing, etc.) but fluent across all three
  • You thrive in early-stage startup chaos: ambiguity, fast shipping, and wearing multiple hats energize you
  • You want to build competitive moat in a new category (GEO) and have the chance to shape the playbook
Won't Work If
  • You need 100% remote work—this role is on-site only
  • You're a specialist who needs clear role boundaries; this is generalist work across growth, content, and product marketing
  • You see AI as optional or a distraction; fluency in AI tools is non-negotiable for speed and output
