The Challenge
JLL's Project & Development Services and Property Management divisions need a strategic marketing leader to shape multi-year growth across two massive business lines. You'll own positioning, demand generation, and brand elevation for one of the world's largest real estate services firms.
Your Mission
Audit current marketing infrastructure, technology stack, and team capabilities across PDS and Property Management to identify gaps and consolidation opportunities
Establish baseline KPIs and reporting framework with leadership alignment on what success looks like for pipeline, conversion, and brand metrics
Develop 12-month integrated marketing roadmap translating business goals into specific demand generation, content, and positioning initiatives
Build cross-functional steering committee with Sales, Product, Operations leads to align marketing investment and execution priorities
Launch integrated demand generation engine across digital, ABM, content, and events that moves qualified pipeline and improves conversion velocity
Refresh market positioning and messaging architecture for both business lines with validated competitive differentiation
Implement marketing technology and governance framework enabling real-time performance visibility and ROI reporting to C-suite
Scale marketing team capabilities through hiring and L&D to support execution across global geographies and multiple customer segments

Revenue influenced by marketing campaigns as percentage of total pipeline generated by PDS and Property Management.
Conversion Velocity
Average time from marketing-qualified lead to closed deal, tracking improvement across segments and geographies.
Brand Awareness & Perception
Share of voice, aided awareness, and consideration metrics vs. competitors in target buyer segments.
Marketing Efficiency Ratio
Revenue generated per marketing dollar spent, benchmarked against industry standards and historical performance.
Campaign ROI
Cost per qualified lead and cost per closed deal across demand generation channels and campaigns.

- You thrive in complex, matrixed organizations and can influence across Sales, Product, Operations, Finance without direct authority
- You're equally comfortable with strategy and execution-you can build the roadmap AND roll up your sleeves on campaign performance
- You have 12+ years marketing experience with 5+ years at director level, managing teams of 8+ people and budgets of $5M+
- You need full remote work or significant flexibility-this is on-site in NYC with executive presence expectations
- You're looking for a quick turnaround exit or don't have appetite for 18-24 month transformational work
- You're uncomfortable with ambiguity, messy cross-functional dynamics, or pushing back on executive assumptions to drive better outcomes
- You lack experience with analytics, performance measurement, and connecting marketing activity to revenue impact
