The Challenge

Blaxel is building AWS for AI agents—a new category of cloud infrastructure backed by First Round Capital and YC. As founding growth hire, you'll architect the demand engine for a technical product selling to developers and enterprises in the fastest-moving corner of AI.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Build and launch a scalable demand generation engine using Clay, n8n, and LLM-powered outbound automation to identify and engage high-intent developer/infrastructure leads

Establish baseline growth analytics stack tracking CAC, ARR, and attribution across paid and organic channels; set quarterly growth targets with technical founders

Execute first 2-3 multi-channel campaigns (organic + paid) with developer-first messaging; achieve initial product-qualified leads (PQLs) from target accounts like HuggingFace ecosystem

Recruit and onboard first growth team member (SDR or marketing engineer) to scale outbound systems and free up your time for strategy

By 6 Months

Scale demand generation engine to generate 200+ qualified pipeline per month with <$5K CAC; prove repeatable unit economics

Launch and optimize Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategy; establish organic discoverability for AI agent + serverless compute keywords

Secure 3-5 marquee customer case studies or reference accounts; convert inbound developer momentum into land-and-expand revenue growth

4

Hire and train full growth stack (2-3 FTE): demand generation, product marketing, and growth engineering; document repeatable playbooks for 2026 scaling

Pipeline Generated (MoM)

Monthly qualified pipeline dollars from all channels; target: $200K+ by month 6.

CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost)

Cost to acquire a paying customer; target: <$5K to maintain unit economics.

Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) Growth Rate

Month-over-month % growth in ARR; measure GTM impact on revenue acceleration.

Product-Qualified Leads (PQLs)

Leads who have engaged with product or demo; leading indicator of sales conversion.

Attribution & Channel Mix

Breakdown of pipeline by source (paid, organic, outbound, partnerships); informs budget allocation.

Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You've shipped growth for a developer-first SaaS, cloud platform, or AI/ML infra company and own the metrics end-to-end (pipeline, CAC, ARR)
  • You're fluent in AI/LLMs and can stitch together low-code automation (Clay, n8n, Make, etc.) to build outbound and demand gen systems without eng dependency
  • You write compelling copy that speaks to technical audiences—you can translate 'ultra-low latency serverless compute for agents' into something developers actually care about
  • You love early-stage chaos; you're comfortable defining growth strategy from first principles and building playbooks, not executing someone else's playbook
  • You have 5+ years of measurable growth experience in technical/B2B SaaS; VP-level ownership of full demand generation funnel
Won't Work If
  • You're uncomfortable with hands-on execution; you want a team immediately or you delegate everything. You're the first hire—you'll do the work until you scale it.
  • You need a bloated benefits package or stability; early-stage equity and seed-stage risk aren't your thing.
  • You can't translate between technical and business; you don't understand infrastructure, cloud compute, or AI agent workflows at a conceptual level.
