The Challenge
Globe Life is hunting for a Digital Marketing Manager who can own their full-funnel paid advertising strategy—managing 6-7 figure budgets across Google, Bing, Meta, and emerging platforms while scaling new partnerships and mentoring junior marketers.
Your Mission
Audit all active paid search campaigns (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta) and establish new baseline performance benchmarks against historical KPIs
Identify and negotiate with 2-3 new advertising partners or self-serve platforms to test, with documented ROI recommendations for leadership
Build and deliver first executive-level monthly performance dashboard in Excel/Tableau showing ROAS, CPA, and budget efficiency across channels
Document and codify all current campaign management workflows and compliance processes in Cloudinary—flag process gaps
Launch and optimize 3+ new paid acquisition campaigns (different channels or audience segments) with documented lift metrics vs. baseline
Reduce cost-per-acquisition by minimum 12-15% across highest-spend channels through testing, bid optimization, and creative rotation
Develop and deliver formal quarterly mentorship/training program for junior marketing team on A/B testing methodology and platform best practices
Establish competitive intelligence dashboard tracking top 4-5 competitors' ad strategies and messaging—inform 2+ strategic campaign pivots
KPIs You'll Own
ROAS (Return on Ad Spend)
Revenue generated per dollar spent across all paid channels—primary north star for direct response campaigns.
Cost Per Acquisition (CPA)
Average cost to acquire one customer; track by channel and campaign to identify winners and underperformers.
Click-Through Rate (CTR)
Percentage of impressions that result in clicks; indicates creative and keyword relevance.
Conversion Rate
Percentage of clicks that convert to desired action; tracks funnel health and landing page quality.
Budget Utilization & Burn Rate
Actual spend vs. planned budget across channels; ensures efficient allocation and forecasting accuracy.
