The Challenge
A publicly-listed international company needs a Marketing Manager to own the French market from the ground up. You'll build brand positioning, execute multi-channel campaigns, and drive acquisition and retention for a scaled player entering new growth phases.
Your Mission
Audit current brand positioning and competitor landscape in France; present go-to-market strategy aligned with regional and global teams
Launch 2-3 foundational digital campaigns (paid social, email, SEO/SEM) with clear performance baselines and measurement framework
Establish monthly marketing reporting cadence with CFO/regional leadership; define marketing budget allocation model for remainder of year
Map customer segments and create targeted messaging playbooks for acquisition and retention across email, social, and content channels
Deliver 25%+ growth in qualified leads or customer acquisition vs. baseline; optimize campaign ROAS to >3:1 across paid channels
Execute 2-3 in-person or hybrid events generating 200+ leads and reinforcing brand positioning with key customer personas
Build repeatable content calendar (blog, social, email) that generates consistent organic traffic and engagement; measure content-driven conversions
Establish marketing automation infrastructure (CRM integration, lead scoring, nurture flows) reducing manual touchpoints by 40%+

Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)
Track fully-loaded cost to acquire a new customer by channel; target unit economics that pay back within 6-12 months.
Campaign ROAS (Return on Ad Spend)
Measure revenue generated per euro spent on paid digital (SEM, social, programmatic); benchmark minimum 3:1 for profitability.
Lead Volume & Quality Score
Monitor monthly qualified leads by source and segment; track conversion rate from lead to sales-qualified opportunity (SQO).
Brand Awareness & Consideration
Measure aided/unaided awareness and consideration lift via surveys; track share-of-voice vs. competitors in target segments.
Email Engagement & Conversion
Monitor open rates (target 25%+), click-through rates (3-5%), and revenue influenced by email campaigns; improve segmentation over time.
