The Challenge

datashake is a 80-person growth marketing agency scaling fast. You'll own a portfolio of mid-market and enterprise clients, run their paid acquisition across Google, Facebook, LinkedIn and beyond, and mentor junior consultants as you do it.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Take ownership of 3-5 client accounts, audit existing campaigns, and propose data-driven optimization roadmaps

Master datashake's acquisition playbook and tools (learnings from ex-Google team members)

Onboard and set expectations with your first junior consultant; establish weekly 1:1s and feedback loops

4

Deliver Q1 performance reports showing 15-20% improvement in ROAS or CPA across assigned clients

By 6 Months
1

Grow your client portfolio to 6-8 accounts with 20%+ average ROAS improvement YoY

Build a high-performing team of 2-3 junior consultants with documented playbooks and training materials

Identify and pitch new service offerings (e.g., audience strategy, attribution modeling) to expand ACV

4

Present learnings at internal tech events or client workshops; position yourself as datashake's acquisition expert

Client ROAS / CPA Performance

Track YoY improvement across your portfolio; target 15-20% optimization in first 6 months.

Campaign Analysis Turnaround

Time from data pull to actionable insights and recommendations; aim for 48-72 hour SLA.

Junior Consultant Output Quality

Client satisfaction scores and campaign performance from your team's managed accounts vs. company baseline.

Client Retention & NPS

Keep churn at 0% and push NPS above 50 through relationship management and results delivery.

Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You have 2-5 years of agency experience and have built acquisition strategies from scratch
  • You're fluent in Google Ads and/or Facebook Ads (certifications a plus) and follow platform updates obsessively
  • You love digging into campaign data, spotting patterns, and turning insights into concrete optimizations
  • You're ready to lead—mentoring junior consultants energizes you, not drains you
Won't Work If
  • You want a purely individual contributor role; this role requires team leadership and account stewardship
  • You shy away from client communication or prefer hands-off management
  • You're not comfortable with rapid feedback and iteration—datashake's culture thrives on it
