The Challenge
CS GROUP is a €2.6B+ critical systems builder for defense, space, and energy. Their Defense & Security BU needs someone to amplify their market presence across 840+ team members and complex, high-stakes programs—from anti-drone systems to maritime surveillance.
Your Mission
Audit and refresh all commercial collateral (product sheets, case studies, client references) across the BU product portfolio
Execute competitive intelligence report covering defense/security market trends and positioning gaps
Launch and operationalize digital presence strategy (LinkedIn, website content, social scheduling)
Support 2-3 major event activations (trade shows, customer events, internal workshops)
Establish quarterly business plan review cycle with commercial leadership, tracking pipeline impact metrics
Build and own 6-month content calendar aligned to defense/security buying cycles and seasonal campaigns
Measure and optimize digital engagement: follower growth, CTR, lead gen from owned channels
Develop replicable case study/reference program process with 3+ assets completed and validated
KPIs You'll Own
Commercial asset utilization rate
% of sales team actively using updated collateral in pitches/proposals (target: 70%+)
Digital engagement velocity
Monthly growth in LinkedIn followers, website traffic, and qualified inbound leads from owned channels
Event ROI
Pipeline value generated / event investment spend and lead quality from each activation
Competitive win rate impact
Track correlation between refreshed positioning/messaging and deal closure rates vs. competitors

- You've spent 5+ years doing marketing/comms in industrial or defense sectors—you know how to sell complex systems to technical buyers
- You thrive owning multiple workstreams simultaneously (collateral, events, digital, market research) without getting lost
- You're fluent in both French and English and comfortable in international stakeholder environments
- You want substance over flash: building credibility and market position in mission-critical verticals excites you
- You need flexibility on location—this is 100% on-site in Le Plessis-Robinson, no negotiation
- You expect quick results from demand gen: defense sales cycles are 12–24 months; patience required
- You're uncomfortable with export controls, security clearances, or highly regulated industries
