Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You've managed a Shopify store or D2C website end-to-end and can prove it with conversion/revenue metrics
  • You're obsessed with data—GA4, CRO testing, and translating numbers into action are your native language
  • You thrive owning complex projects across multiple teams; you're the person who catches the details others miss
  • You want to scale a brand's ecommerce engine, not just run day-to-day marketing campaigns
  • You have 2-4 years of digital marketing with at least 1 year of hands-on ecommerce/website management
Won't Work If
  • You're uncomfortable with Shopify or lack platform-specific ecommerce experience—this role demands platform fluency from day one
  • You prefer strategic planning over execution; this role is accountability-heavy and detail-focused
  • You've never used GA4 or run A/B tests; analytical rigor is non-negotiable for this position

Interview Process

1

Initial Screening

Phone/video call with recruiter or Sr Director to assess background, Shopify experience, and ecommerce track record

2

Portfolio Review

Bring examples of D2C websites you've optimized, GA4 dashboards, A/B test results, and performance metrics

3

Technical Assessment

Walk through a Shopify site audit; discuss CRO strategy, GA4 insights, and how you'd approach key KPIs

4

Cross-Functional Interviews

Meet with Sr Director (manager), Creative/Marketing lead, and potentially Ops/Tech to assess collaboration and problem-solving

5

Offer & Close

Finalize compensation, start date, and onboarding plan
