The Challenge

CHANEL's Open Innovation team is reimagining luxury through cutting-edge partnerships and investments. You'll own integrated marketing strategies that bring future-forward initiatives to market, blending storytelling with data-driven campaign execution across earned, social, paid, and owned channels.

Your Mission

First 3 Months
1

Build and launch the marketing calendar for Q1-Q2 Open Innovation initiatives with 100% on-time delivery and aligned KPI targets

Establish vendor partnerships and project management frameworks with 3-5 key external agencies; evaluate scope for in-house capability builds

Define and instrument 5-7 core KPIs across all marketing activities; set up reporting dashboard with weekly performance syncs

4

Create 8-12 initial marketing assets (copy, creative, training materials) piloting 2-3 new formats or platforms (e.g., GEO)

By 6 Months

Execute 4+ full campaign cycles end-to-end; demonstrate post-launch engagement lift of 20%+ vs. baseline through optimization learnings

Bring 2-3 capabilities in-house to increase agility; reduce time-to-launch by 30% through process optimization

Build a replicable 'test and learn' asset framework; run 15+ A/B tests across channels and document playbook for future rollouts

Drive cross-functional alignment with Product, Connected Experiences, and Creative teams; achieve 95%+ stakeholder satisfaction on delivery

Campaign Launch On-Time Delivery

Track adherence to marketing calendar deadlines; target 100% delivery within committed timelines.

Post-Launch Engagement Velocity

Measure traffic, social reach, and earned media lift in weeks 1-4 post-launch vs. historical baseline.

Asset Performance (A/B Test Results)

Monitor CTR, conversion rate, and engagement lift across creative variants; drive continuous asset optimization.

Project Budget Variance

Maintain marketing spend within 5% of planned budget while tracking ROI per dollar invested.

Vendor Efficiency & Agility

Measure average turnaround time for vendor deliverables; target 15% reduction every quarter through in-house builds.

Is This Role For You?

For You If
  • You've managed 3+ integrated marketing campaigns end-to-end (GTM planning, asset production, launch, optimization)
  • You're comfortable juggling multiple workstreams: vendor management, creative briefs, data analytics, and stakeholder alignment simultaneously
  • You thrive in test-and-learn environments; you see failed experiments as data, not setbacks
  • You have hands-on experience with paid, social, and owned channels—and can translate channel-specific insights into holistic strategy
  • You're energized by luxury, innovation, or emerging tech (bonus: familiarity with Gen AI, Web3, or D2C platforms)
Won't Work If
  • You need remote flexibility or significant WFH options; this role is fully on-site in New York
  • You're a strategist-only; this role requires hands-on execution, vendor management, and occasional tactical problem-solving
  • You lack project management discipline or struggle with ambiguity; CHANEL's Open Innovation moves fast and you'll need to manage multiple parallel initiatives with shifting priorities
