Accountabilities
Build and manage an engaged community of education industry professionals, decision-makers, and buyers to support audience growth and commercial initiatives.
Develop and execute community engagement strategies across digital platforms, events, newsletters, and interactive experiences to increase participation and loyalty.
Recruit and nurture relationships with school district leaders, education professionals, and key stakeholders to create a high-quality network.
Manage virtual and in-person forums, including webinars, digital events, discussions, newsletters, and audience engagement activities.
Partner with sales teams to provide qualified audience insights, attendee data, engagement reports, and market intelligence that support sponsorship and revenue opportunities.
Oversee event experiences from planning through execution, ensuring strong attendee engagement, client acquisition, and partner value.
Develop and manage strategic partnerships with education associations, school districts, and industry organizations to expand reach and create new opportunities.
Negotiate and maintain co-marketing partnerships that increase audience growth, event attendance, newsletter subscriptions, and commercial potential.
Create engaging written content for community channels, newsletters, surveys, and interactive campaigns.
Analyze engagement data and audience feedback to identify opportunities for growth, improve programs, and inform content strategies.
Requirements
7+ years of experience in B2B community management, strategic partnerships, business development, field marketing, or a related role.
Strong understanding of the K-12 education ecosystem, education buyers, district decision-making processes, and industry trends.
Established network of education professionals, school administrators, associations, or relevant B2B communities.
Proven experience building and managing strategic partnerships, co-marketing initiatives, or community-driven growth programs.
Experience collaborating with sales teams to convert audience engagement into measurable commercial outcomes.
Strong event management experience, including virtual webinars, online communities, and in-person professional events.
Excellent written communication skills with experience creating newsletters, community content, campaigns, and engagement materials.
Confident public speaking skills with the ability to host events, moderate discussions, and engage professional audiences.
Strong relationship-building, negotiation, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Data-driven mindset with experience using engagement metrics and audience insights to guide decisions.
